Hi guys. I have $65 on my PSN Account, and am debating between the Street Fighter 5 Character DLC, or Persona 5 Strikers. This may seem dumb, but I do have Persona 5 installed on my PS4/PS5, but have not played it yet. I am brand new to the Persona series, have not played a single game in the series yet. What do you guys think? Is P5 Strikers worth getting? Thoughts and help appreciated :)

I have the game on the switch, but I haven't played it yet. the dlc is like $15 from what i remember. I don't know if the ps4 has more, but there's only two things on the switch.

before I exploited my ps4, I got street fighter v from a humble bundle sale. I haven't played it yet. I probably have no dlc for it as I'm now using a fake pkg. I made a backup of all 13 games I owned before formatting the hdd.

on the switch, yes. it's a legit system. I haven't played it yet, but I did buy the dlc. it's around $15 for all of it from what I remember.

I saw @Hayato213 playing it when I was on the switch. he's in my friends' list, so you might ask him how the game is. I bought the dlc blind.

I'd say play them in order, or at the very least start at persona 3, so no need to buy a new version of 5 imo

there's the digital deluxe version, which gave you access to the game four days early. it contains the bgm dlc I believe, because when I bought it, the eshop registered me as buying the digital deluxe version, which I didn't know about. there's also a five dollar dlc, all attack dlc?

Depends on if you like the warrior type combat basically it is 1 vs like 100 type of game. Story wise it is recommend to play Persona 5 first, or first 9 month of royal.

As someone who has not finished Persona 5 but just got all trophies for Persona 5 Strikers, I gotta say it really isn't that bad.
There are some things that you might not get at first and there are quite a few spoilers since it is a direct sequel (with some time between the events in the main game). But playing P5S really motivated me to finally tackle P5.

I'm in the minority here but SFV DLC. Most people saying SFV is a bad game most likely have not played the game since launch date and seen all the improvements the game has made over time. Also sometimes the case when people don't like a game they will say it's bad just because they personally don't like it.

I have to admit I haven’t played in well over 2 years, there was a couple of new characters that just looked awful so I ditched it fully and went back to IV.

Having grown up on SF2 on the SNES, and been a long time fan of every game there after: V entirely lost my interest.

You didn't mention anything about street fighter though. Did you not play that either?

Just get what you want. They are two totally different games, so whichever you like more I guess?

Is true the start of the game was bad, but it has become better over time. Enough to get up ranking on Capcom platinum title list, and most played fighting game since this weeks recent update. (Statistically) Funny how Dan, the worst character in the game by design is gaining the most attention the game ever had. :P

Is still not quite the game it has the potential to be. Is lacking the single player content other fighting games like mortal kombat has. (Or street fighter alpha 3 for comparison, world tour mode) Bad story modes, that just mostly all over the place with the tone. Characters Unlocking costume colors by playing Survival mode is terrible. Earning fight money is horrendous. Compared to other games like dragon ball fightersz you just earn currency or points by just playing the game (But i guess they wanted to avoid "money farm" tricks)

But now it has more characters, stages, costumes, and two optional v-skill & v-trigger to customize them with. Another year of "Balance patches for competitive play" and then just move on to street fighter 6 which is hopefully better. (Or go back into crossover games... Capcom vs Snk 3 when?) :ninja:
