I've found topics the other way around, but I want to move all my data to sysnand because I don't use sysnand at all and I'd like to setup switch root on my current sd card.
How do I go about this? I haven't touched switch modding in about a year or two so I don't remember anything.

No, that is not a stupid question. Obviously he used Switch modding and now he wants to move to sysnand ?! It is going to be dirty in his Switch that will be lead to the high risk for a ban anyway.

I literally said I don't use sysnand. idc if I get banned or not. I have a ps5 and pc for online gaming.
My goal here is to use that 30 gb of sysnand to store some more of my games and make some space on my sd so I can install switchroot.

If you dont care about online then you are free to do that but your switch is already banned anyway because you modded it without back up clean NAND, you know. And you are going to ban if you try it. Your switch was already modded and it is not going to be clean NAND at all.

Did you backup your clean sysnand before you run any backup games on it ? Then you will be okay. However... if you back up your sysnand after running backup games then no, Your Switch will be dirty and high risk of ban no matter what.

this convo is completely out of topic, but yes, I did backup my clean sysnand before modding. And as I said, I literally don't care about switch multiplayer unless they make botw2 coop only game.

You want to move it to your sysnand? But you don't use it? This makes no sense. You meant from sysnand to emunand...correct me if i'm wrong.
I want to move my items from EMUNAND to SYSNAND. I don't use my sysnand atm so its empty and useless. I want to utilize it.

Just start with a fresh install of atmosphere
On your sd and use sys nand and reinstall your games I dont bother with emu nand as for me it's just a waste of 30gb on my sd
And I have no plans of using it online but I do have a clean 9.0 nand back if I want a clean switch

Just back up and reinstall if you haven't played it in a year it's not like your going to lose anything that important as you would have been playing it
Also the changes are that your homebrew will need updating anyway if you decide to upgrade your firmware

There is no tool that can automate this. I suggest dumping the save data then restoring it in sysMMC.
