Hi,

I have a kingston 32gb msd (not a clone bought from a retail shop ages ago), never had any issues, used to use it for my N64s ED64 and noticed the other day when dinosaur planet was leaked i put my sd into my computer and it wouldnt pick it up, the drive letter would show but it would say it cant find the drive, no option to format or anything.

I have tried partition magic to try recover the partition and mbr but even then (usually works for hdds) it shows the drive but cant access it.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
