Hacking SX OS v3.1.0 BETA released! Firmware 11.0 Support

On some games, i have two message errors at the launch on my banned switch :

First : " a error has ocurred, try later. If this issue ..."

I click on close.

Second : "the console cannot verify if this software is compatible with cloud save data ..."

I click on "start the software"

The game start but i would like to stop those error messages.

Isn't SX gear just that other dongle?

Pretty sure that firmware has nothing to do with SX core/lite.

sx gear itself is dongle without sxos lisence.
the sx gear boot.dat is a direct forwarder to payloads.

Yes correct. That SX gear boot.dat shouldn't work with the SX core.

It's the same with the old utility the you could make your own boot.dat that will work with the original dongle. It shouldn't work with SX core/lite.

But it doesn't really matter since you can load your own firmware on the chip for payload loading anyways.

the boot.dat works and loads into hekate 5.5.0/5.5.1 payload, same behavior as manually loading from the sx core bootloader.
with some keyslots being cleared lockpick_rcm does not work correctly as well

The newest SX Gear boot.dat (1.1 I think) does work fine with the Core/Lite chips, the old one I don’t think was signed.

As far as I understand the SX Gear hardware is the same as the SX Pro, just doesn’t include the SXOS license.

If the keys are being cleared then it's still the same as before and it won't load Atmosphere.

To get Atmosphere booting when v17 comes out, you're going to have to load your own keys after sx clears them. Or easiest thing is just replace the firmware on the SX core/lite.

Only way to prevent the error is by downgrading to 10.10fw. 11.0+ has save file backup support for Nintendo cloud attached to the home screen so any game that supports that feature will get that nag. Its not a big deal just an extra click to play certain games.

Shit. That would explain it then. I stupidly updated my emuNand using the 11.01 firmware this morning and now SX OS 3.1.0 beta only boots to a black screen. I guess my options at this point are to create a new emuNAND based on my sysNAND which is still on 11.0 or wait for an SXOS patch. It's my own fault though.

You can try launching Atmosphere on your emuMMC.

I did. I used the atmosphere conversion option and I'm no longer using SXOS. I think it's pretty much a dead platform at this point.

Nah, games are getting patched to run on SX OS, just like the patches for 7.02 games to run on 5.05 PS4. Just because it's stuck on a lower fw doesn't mean it's dead.

But just like the PS4, not all games can be patched. Just because some games can be patched now doesn't mean it will stay that way.

hi everyone, i am new to switch cfw. i need help on changing sxos to atmosphere

so i bought a switch lite with sxos using sxos core. currently the ofw is on 10.20.0

i have 2 mmc
one with emunand and fw 10.0.2 for playing "free" games and cfw purpose

the second one doesn't have emunand and i use it to play online game in ofw mode (i know the risk)

i realized now that the latest ofw 11.0.1 makes sxos useless and there is no sign of support. so I decide to change to atmosphere. but i have some questions

1. does atmosphere have ofw mode that can be use to play online?

2. can i use my save from sx os emunand in atmosphere emunand?

3. can i use my sxos emunand for atmosphere or i should create it again?

4. does atmosphere now support xci? if yes, can i play it without installing it like on sxos?

5. i have read that dual boot is available so i can keep both sxos and atmosphere. cmiiw payloads is used for booting right? i don't have any payloads right now. the boot just go to sxos menu

what payload should i use so i can switch between

sx os emunand
sx os ofw
atmosphere emunand
atmosphere ofw

No but you can just boot without Atmosphere if you want to boot OFW. However you still risk a ban if you have previously booted CFW and/or homebrew
emuMMC doesn't operate differently when using other CFW
You can use the emuMMC with both CFW
While Atmosphere does not support directly mounting .XCI files like SX OS, you can install them like you would .NSP files
Hekate is the best payload to allow you to switch between SX OS and Atmosphere
