Hey. If anyone knows how to get Sonic Mania on Wii U, pls answer here. Also, the genesis plus gx liberto package is not avaliable in the homebrew appstore. Help pls.

Here's how you get Sonic Mania on Wii U.
Put a Switch or another console on top of your Wii U.
Otherwise, you don't. You can't just port games to whatever console otherwise people who are smarter than us would do it all the time.

dammit I almost thought this was a news post and someone actually managed to do that..... lol.....
But yeah, sorry, but you'd have to make a downsized version of the game and even then it would be a grueling process...

Not exactly what you're asking for, but I think is worth noting, the mobile ports of Sonic 1, 2, and CD were recently decompiled and are now playable on PC. Sonic Mania runs on the same engine. I know there's homebrew ports of that for Vita, so maybe we'll see a decompilation project for Mania eventually? Might be too recent for something like that though.
I think it might be too much work, despite mania working on the same engine.

Mania runs on a newer, and undoubtedly more complicated version of the same engine. In addition, unlike CD/1/2, which are currently free on mobile, Mania is also a paid release for current consoles. So... yeah, I wouldn't expect it.
Well it's not like it's unfeasible. If the game gets decompiled it's certainly possible a hacker that knows what they're doing could get it running on the Wii U. Like check out this guy, he was able to get Cuphead running on the Wii U
I don't think he ever finished work on the project, but certainly it shows that in the right hands with the right knowledge and available info, such a thing could feasibly happen.
Having said that, to the OP, I wouldn't hold your breath, it's not something that typically happens, and that image of someone's homescreen on the Wii U with the Sonic Mania icon is just a fan that went into a title's meta content and changed the icon.tga to look like the Sonic Mania icon. I could do such a thing in 5 minutes if you wanted. Doesn't change the fact that the game isn't actually on the system of course.

It is not logical to ask about <random game that I want to work> if it'll work on a system it's not meant to. Because what you said is the key most games do not get decompiled. I didn't know someone made an image of it the game on the Wii U menu though. So it at least gives some reasoning for OP asking about the game.

I wasn't saying it was logical, I even told OP not to hold his breath. I'm just saying it's not impossible or unfeasible. It wouldn't have made sense for someone to ask for GTA III on the Wii U considering it's a system the game was never intended to be play on, yet well here we are today.

"You can't just port games to whatever console." That's pretty much saying such a request is completely out of the question. And while I agree that it's asking a hell of a lot, I disagree with that implied sentiment that OP had absolutely no reason to ask.
