Homebrew So I guess the Wii scene is dead?

The Wii scene kind of peaked I think? We got:

- NES
- SNES
- GB/GBC/GBA
- Turbografx
- N64 (Ok-ish)
- GC native
- Wii
- Master System/Mega Drive/Genesis

And we can run all the above at 240p

What else is there to do other than to get N64 perfected (which I don't think is possible).

Personally, I'm a big proponent of the Wii as the ultimate Nintendo console since you can do:

**NES, SNES, GB/GBC/GBA, N64, GC, and Wii all with official Nintendo Controllers (NES and SNES classic controllers)**

Missing sega 32x. All good games bad games for the system aside a older system like the original xbox can run it yet the wii can't for some reason. Can't think of anything other than that though.

Half Life ported to the Wii in the near future.
They are currently testing the engine.

The wii scene has all this cool stuff and people are still not happy. There is a finite amount of old games that can be ported. Eventually people will have to start making new games or something!

Why wouldn't they jump to a platform with more potential and a bigger scene

It might could, but no one will port picodrive to the Wii via Retroarch. Funny how even the PS2 got it yet the GC and Wii didn't.

It was ported and now updated in the Libretro RetroArch Wii v1.9.9, go check it in: https://buildbot.libretro.com/stable/1.9.9/nintendo/wii/
