Hacking Wii with old Homebrew IOS installed - I need to recall my memory, please help guys!

Guys I don't want go back to all my documentations, please can you recall my memory about this case.....
I need to upgrade the IOS in the Homebrew channel from one of my Wii, I have one Wii really old modded and in the Homebrew channel menu it shows the IOS 38 and this it gives me some problem with some functionality like USB, I can easily upgrade it without brick the Wii to IOS 58, latest version? If yes, which procedure I need to follow to upgrade it?
Or I need to re-soft Mod all the console again :wacko:

Hello.

You can use the HackMii Solution for re-install/update your Homebrew Channel.
Then you have more Ways to Update your Wii´s Mod.

The easiest Way is @XFlak ´s ModMii:

You can make a sysCheck first

and use it on ModMii to automatically update your Softmod.

Use modmii 's main wizard to do this. The hackmii solutions wizard is more for if you get an error when running the hackmii installer

Last thing, I'm maintenance and developing the Wii /Wii U app, do you know someone from here that it has the same passion person, where time to times I can share some thoughts on coding on Wii/vWii system.
I hope to don't ask you so much but I really need someone just to have in contact (without bothering of course

)...
