Hello Everyone, I was attempting to update my Nintendo switch today for the first time. I had successfully installed CFW, but wanted to update Atmosphere, Hekate and Switch Firmware. I updated my Atmosphere successfully, However, when I attempted to update my Switch Firmware, I was unable to. To ensure it was nothing else, I attempted to update my hekate as well. After I updated my hekate, I am now unable to boot into atmosphere, when I click the "launch" button I get the error

"No main boot entries found...
Check that bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini has boot entries
or use more configs button for more boot entries"

Can someone please help me fix this to launch back into Atmosphere. Thank you in advance for your help.

Get the latest fusee-primary.bin and stick it in your bootloader/payloads directory, and then add this to bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini

[Payload Fusee Primary]
fss0=bootloader/payloads/fusee-primary.bin

Thank you for the reply, how can I add this to bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini? I am on a mac, would I need a windows machine to see it as .txt?

You can just rename the .ini extension to .txt it if that makes it easier, but you could probably just open the .ini with whatever text editor you use. Just rename it back to .ini before you throw it on the switch sd.

do I just add those lines anywhere in the document? at the beginning? end? keep the existing stuff in there?

The same error about no boot entries? Show me your contents of hekate_ipl.ini.
[config]
autoboot=0
autoboot_list=0
bootwait=3
backlight=100
autohosoff=0
autonogc=1
updater2p=1
bootprotect=0
[Payload Fusee Primary]
fss0=bootloader/payloads/fusee-primary.bin

It also created another hekate_ipl.ini file when I reinstalled my micro SD card to my computer.

maybe just need a line between the stuff that was there and the new stuff, so like this:

[config]
autoboot=0
autoboot_list=0
bootwait=3
backlight=100
autohosoff=0
autonogc=1
updater2p=1
bootprotect=0

[Payload Fusee Primary]
fss0=bootloader/payloads/fusee-primary.bin

And make sure you're sure you xfered the modified .ini to the switch sd.

Thank you, I did, still getting the same error unfortunately. I made sure to convert it back to a .ini file

Also I believe since your using a Mac, you may try to do Archive Bit fix in Hekate menu...
thank you for the suggestion, May I ask how I would go about doing this?

You can alternatively just boot fusee-primary.bin as your primary payload, and not mess with hekate at all. I only recently started using hekate to do stuff like dual boot android.

I really would like to understand this issue with Hekate, but I am also slightly confused by what you just told me lol.

on hekate menu, try select "Payloads" then select "Fusee-Primary" instead of CFW
Ok I think I see what you mean, I installed the fusee-primary.bin on my injector and was able to boot straight into atmosphere. I am very confused now as to hot that worked...

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

1 - Format SD card to FAT32
2 - Fresh install of Atmosphere files on SD card. - https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases
3 - Get and put Correct Sigpatches in "atmosphere" folder - https://github.com/ITotalJustice/patches/releases
4 - (optional) Get Tinwoo or Goldleaf and place inside "switch" folder - https://github.com/XorTroll/Goldleaf/releases
5 - Boot into Hekate menu, select "Payloads", then select "Fusee-Primary"
Good Luck and Have fun!
Would I lose all my game saves if I do this?
