Blizzcon 2021 kicks off later today, but it looks like Blizzard couldn't keep the wraps on all of its reveals prior to the show starting. An upcoming game has leaked, thanks to its PEGI rating going public. Set for release apparently later today, February 19th, is the Blizzard Arcade Collection, for PC. According to the description, It packs together three retro Blizzard games from the 1990's: Rock & Roll Racing, Lost Vikings 1, and Blackthorne. PEGI has since deleted the entry from their website. If you want to wait for the official announcement, it should happen sometime during Blizzcon today, which starts at 2pm PT/10pm GMT.

Yes, it was. I just hope Blizzard doesn't try to pull a stupid one and replaces / remakes the songs (also please no genesis version, they sound as if they were played on a wood saw)
Dunno, I kinda prefered the Megadrive version because of the music... but I'm with you on hoping they retain the licenses and don't change it for generic crap.
Even so, I'm interested to see what pricepoint Blizzard thinks these 3 old snes/MD roms are worth and if they include any bells and whistles to entice over just emulating them.

Now that you mentioned, there does seem to be a group of people that likes the MD version better. So a toggle between the 2 could be a solution to make both sides content.

Depends, if they're just bundling up the roms on emulators.....yea I agree.

If they port them and improve them even a little bit then I disagree
In that case, I would agree with you if it were "Lost Vikings Collection". If they are remaking the engine, might as well include all games instead of doing it in some shady DLC way or not including at all.

The games are meh but the "watch mode" seems cool.

You watch the game being played and you can then jump in at any point instantly. That's a cool idea.

Probably works similar to dooms demos where the game is just taking prerecorded inputs

I'd like Genesis version as an option - this particular port is actually iconic in Russia (where it's one of the most well-known Mega Drive games), so sticking with SNES one just wouldn't jive well with my nostalgia despite being technically superior.
