I Have just got sx core intalled and put the boot file on the root of the sd card but when I turn on my switch it always just shows the nintendo logo then the switch logo and boots into the normal nintendo firmware, it basically does the same thing as if there were no sx core the only thing is the green light that comes on when the switch has power. Do you need the boot file to show the splash screen and if so do I have the right boot file or is it in the wrong destination or is the modchip simply intalled wrong

edit: if someone could tell me what usually happens when you boot up sx core without a sd card so I would know if it was a software or hardware issue that would be helpful too

I think I found the problem. I didn't want to micro solder especially right to the cpu and I am a beginner to soldering so I got some people at a local tech repair shop to do it but I am pretty sure they forgot to connect the nand because there is no bulge and that would explain why there is only a green light. They have warranty on repairs so I could go back and ask them to do it but they are far and they already did the hard parts (micro soldering to the cpu) so I will just do it quick
