v18.5.0: After-Valentines (2021) release

We may be past Valentine's Day, but it's never too late to bring some sweet new goodies to TWiLight Menu++!

What's new?

A single-screen mode called Macro Mode has been added, and runs entirely on the bottom screen! Useful for consoles with the GameBoy Macro mod.
Added Atari XEGS to TWLMenu++ Virtual Console!
- `.xex` and `.atr` files are launched by XEGS-DS (@wavemotion).
If the launched homebrew contains an ARM9 binary bigger than 3.5MB, it'll have Unlaunch boot it.
- Works around the black screen bug in the DSi port of Super Mario 64 (not 64 DS), so you can save your progress!
Added AP fix for Spanish translation of Gyakuten Kenji 2/Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth: Prosecuter's Path.
3DS theme: Removed GBA icon.
- It is kept in DS mode with the `Native` GBA option set.

Improvements

(@Pk11 and various) Updated translations.
Improved homebrew check.

Bug fixes

3DS consoles: Fixed IR not working in games that support it.
- Achieved by rebooting the console before booting the game, if there's something inserted in Slot-1.
(@Pk11) Fixed some bugs related to font rendering.
DSi-based themes: Fixed TWLMenu++ crashing with a Guru Meditation Error, if running via Memory Pit.

Some games have stopped booting, such as Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.

THAT "screams" for a testing Gaming Test Session for testing Games that maybe untested.

Have you tried my solution? It may work for you. It worked for me but my R4 isn't the original one, I think mine is from 2011/12 so it may not be the same situation though.

It's indeed possible, as proven by @shutterbug2000. It's just not implemented yet.

Is is possibe to have different settings per game? For example, if I wanted to boot one game with nds-bootstrap and another with YSMenu, would that be possible without changing the settings every time?

Aside from that setting, yes, you can have specific settings per-game, by pressing Y to open the per-game settings menu.

Hello my friend,I finally update this awesome Twilight to the latest one,but one of my game witch is crono trigger(with Chinese patch) is stop booting,it just stuck at the loading screen with red error text,any way to fix this issue?I already use the ap patch on this game but still no luck

Revert the "Run in" setting back to "DS mode".

Make sure you have all the files on the flashcart. When you disable nds-boostrap, it will use AKAIO to load the rom. Flashcart files, under folder 'Flashcart Loader' drop the _afwd folder & afwd.dat file on the root of the SD card (flashcart).

Are you sure your ROM isn't corrupted?
If you're sure, try deleting the fatTable and patchOffsetCache folders in "sd:/_nds/nds-bootstrap/".
If that doesn't fix it, downgrade TWLMenu++.

EDIT: Just tried it with the latest version, and works fine for me. Your ROM is probably corrupted, if you already tried deleting said folders.

Hi Robz! Wanted to thank you for your work on TWL first. It truly is an essential HB piece.
Since renaming TwlBg.cxi will revert all games to 4:3 during next TWL boot, is there any chance to add a setting to flick between 4:3 and 16:10 without having to manually renamethe file? Even if it implies a few reboots it would be better than my current process of manually doing it.

What is the proper way in 3DS for the R4 to use the SD functions (Overclock, etc)?. I used the guide mentioned on github but for some reason it only reads the files from the SD.
