Nice!

Vigor, Spellbreak, Warface & Rogue Company (all free to play) work just fine.
My switch has some "not so legal" content on it and i will test this further (i dont care if getting banned)

Do you have a list of what you block? This seems risky to me.
address=/receive-lp1.er.srv.nintendo.net/127.0.0.1
address=/receive-lp1.dg.srv.nintendo.net/127.0.0.1
address=/sun.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net/127.0.0.1
address=/geo.hivebedrock.network/104.238.130.180
address=/hivebedrock.network/104.238.130.180
address=/mco.mineplex.com/104.238.130.180
address=/play.inpvp.net/104.238.130.180
address=/mco.lbsg.net/104.238.130.180
address=/mco.cubecraft.net/104.238.130.180
address=/play.galaxite.net/104.238.130.180

These domains sent to 127.0.0.1 are sinkholed and the others are mincraft being redirected to enable bedrockconnect (letting you play on any bedrock server)

Ah, I must warn you that you're not blocking all telemetry (and doing so would block many online features anyways).

I wouldn't personally count on avoiding a ban with this, but this is definitely useful for privacy-conscious users.

It's great to see more alternatives in the DNS space :)

Nice to have more DNS alternative although what you guys are doing sounds risky... I feel safer doing a dual boot clean nand for online play and emunand for piracy... not saying one is safer than the other, just my own impression of "safety" hahaha

Regardless of all I just said, cool stuff you got there!

i personally am just too lazy for dual boot. i mean i got sys and emunand set up but im just tired of switching. i am on emu all the time anyways so it wouldnt bother me if i get banned. and there is still switch lan play so it wouldnt be much of a loss

Introducing AquaticDNS.

A new DNS server that allows you to play online while still blocking telemetry.

It's a pretty simple change from 90dns: Instead of blocking ALL of Nintendo’s domains, we only block their telemetry domains.

This restores the ability to play online. Without a Nintendo Subscription, you can atleast play most free-to-play games.

I've used it for years without a ban but that doesn't mean it's completely risk-free. Your switch will be talking to some of Nintendo's domains to create a connection for the games you want to play. This DNS does not let you play pirated games and any kind of piracy always increases the chance of getting banned.

It will also allow you to play Minecraft on any bedrock server you want by including bedrockconnect.

The IP is: 209.182.219.167
As second DNS you should put the primary 90DNS ip of your choice

So... Can this be used if you have a banned switch? (prob not this is a dumb question. Sorry.)

If your switch is banned then there is not much point to using a DNS to hide you ilegal activities from Nintendo. They already banned you, so they no longer care.

This is neat. Since it blocks all telemetry will you not get banned for unofficial nsp installs? Either homebrew or otherwise? It would be nice to be able to play online games without my forwarders getting me bonked by Nintendo.
Says you can't use pirated titles for it

Ah yeah, didn't read it properly. I thought maybe just pirated games that try to talk to Switch Online would result in a ban allowing things like Goldleaf forwarders or SX Save Manager to be used while also being able to play legit games online. Oh well.

Edit: I am curious what the purpose of this is then? It has been known for a while that Nintendo doesn't ban you for using Homebrew or CFW unless you install NSPs

This is awesome, thank you for sharing! Quick question, I probably can't access Nintendo's store to download the free games (since I suppose my emunand is "dirty"), do you know if I would get banned by playing free games downloaded from other sources (would those also count as pirated games)?

If you have a clean nand and didnt use 90DNS to be able to play online, you know have an extra layer of security
If you have a dirty nand you can now play online while having most of the blocking that 90DNS did (which enables online play)

If you have a NSO subscription, you can play all your bought games online, dirty nand or not
If you dont have an online subscription, you still can play all games w/o NSO subscription (Warframe, Vigor, Spellbreak, Rogue Company, etc)

With this DNS you can access the eShop and download or buy games and download them. I suggest you do not update games you havent bought or that are from 3rd party sources (even if its free to play, your console will install common tickets instead of personalized ones).
We dont know how high the risk of banning dirty consoles is. Fenne used this dns for years on a clean switch and i am using it with a dirty nand.
