bad news on getting libslirp running. Apparently it relies on process forking which isn't supported by HOS.

it's not impossible but requires significantly more work than I thought
Sorry for the stupid question, but is then impossible to run it or "just" infeasible because this feature needs to be implemented/worked around in a different software layer?
there is noneDoes anyone have a link to an up-to-date libretro core?
There is no way to tell atm, if the new switch is gonna be hackableIn case Nintendo will release a Switch Pro with more powerful hardware (Which I hope will happen), will the emulator be able to take advantage of it?
Yeah this worked for me. Hope in the future homebrew stuff can fully access ram, without having to press R. It's not a big deal, but more of a UX thing.no by holding the R button while launching any game in the Switch's main menu to get into the hbmenu. From there one it's the usual.
I didn't expect so many people to request this. We'll see.any chance to add again the option to overclock without using sysclk in future release??
it's already possible since forever. This isn't specifically melonDS related, but you basically just need to edit the appropriate atmosphere config file (iirc /atmosphere/config/override.ini). See https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/blob/master/config_templates/override_config.ini for information on how to populate it.Yeah this worked for me. Firmware: 11.0.1 | AMS 0.18
As above, you can tweak Atmosphere's config to get what you want. I use a dummy app (eg. install any game you don't want to play), and set Atmosphere's config to do title override for only that titleid, without pressing R ("!R"). Then you can use sys-tweak (see the "custom game icons" thread) to replace the name and icon with that of hbmenu.Yeah this worked for me. Probably it will not be capable of emulating 3DS or Gamecube (Wii U? LMAO), but perfect PSP, Dreamcast, Saturn and DS emulation would be amazingThere is no way to tell atm, if the new switch is gonna be hackable
The DS emulator allready runs pretty good
If the "switch pro" has kernel access i would imagine ot would be strong enough to run 3ds and gamecube at the very least and wiiU at best

Not to mention that Zelda and Pokemon games (along with a good amount of others) are fullspeed on citra for Switch, you can even upscale those.I don’t know if you’ve played any of those emulators recently, but I would say PSP, Dreamcast, and DS are already fullspeed for most games. There’s some exceptions for each systems but I would say majority of those systems run fullspeed.
Cris98XX, you're the one who askedProbably it will not be capable of emulating 3DS or Gamecube (Wii U? LMAO), but perfect PSP, Dreamcast, Saturn and DS emulation would be amazing
Thanks for your work!Release 5, fix 1 is available!
Due to popular demand I added the overclocking option into the new frontend. Also bug fixes.
