Hardware Both of my switches will barely dock

Hey, I have two swtiches one is modded with atmosphere and the other is not modded. My problem is that both will dock and sometimes (most times) will not dock and play on the tv. Most of the time now they wont dock.

Its odd, sometimes I blow into the switch type c input and then it will work -- now I dont now if blowing in it is actualyl helping it or not. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I would hate to think there is something wrong with both of my swtiches.

Oh I also bought a 3rd party dock and it doesnt work either.

First off don't blow into, use compressed air if anything. Second: I'd try unplugging your docks power n get some 90%+ rubbing alcohol and cleaning the contacts on the dock itself, will be tough to get down in with q-tips but possible. Worth a try. NOTE: Do not try this on the switch itself, unless you pull apart and disconnect the battery first, or else you will short it out.

You should call Nintendo, no matter what don't tell them your serial

I'd also try hooking to another TV, or trying a different HDMI cable also first, to see if that may be the problem. Good luck tho.

Thanks for the replies. I have tried different HMDI cords -- I know I shouldnt blow into it, I was acutally going out tomorrow for some canned air. Ill def try everything you all have posted.
Ill try cleaning the contacts as well. Hopefully one these suggestions will work. Hopefully it does so i dont have to by another dock.
