I think you want boomii to get a nand backup, but I can't remember how to get into it.

just use save manager gx. it can transfer saves and I think miis. then, reinstall your games. if you used emunand, just plug the hdd or whatever into the wii u. that's all you have to do.

that's what I did, and I had no problems. I don't use the emunand though (not sure if it will work on a wii u), but I have nearly the entire wiiware database saved to my computer. I got it from iso before that site went down. anyway, some saves may not transfer due to copy protection, but they will with save manager gx.

Thank you @godreborn! The unique thing I want to do is transfer my mail and the editable miis.
If they have any purchases they should probably still go through the normal transfer to get those transferred over. But a full backup of saves/miis with Savegame Manager GX is a good idea anyways, as when I did the system transfer it didn't transfer over all my saves for some reason, but still deleted them from the Wii, those saves would've been lost if I hadn't made a backup.
Celebrating that in 5 days this thread will be 9 months old, and having the balls to finally do it, I'm going to do, the real system transfer. Wish me luck! Also thank a lot to the people that helped me out. Have a good spooky month
