You are correct. I was able to send my own applications to my series x without having to pay again.@chrisrlink
I think DEV mode is connected to your Microsoft account so it should be transferred over (I'm not 100% sure)

Ok you guys!! It's happening there are gameplay videos of God of War running on this beast of a game machine. I'm buying dev mode right now.
I did not see any information about WiiU working, but GCN and Wii for sure.God of War for Ps2? Love to see a video and check out the framerate, I know Modern Vintage Gamer did a video how the S and how much of a beast it was for emulation. He was running dolphin on it with some framerate drops so gamecube, wii and even wiiU, can't wait to see if this will get more support or not.
Pretty impressive that PS2 is running already.
Yep ... I do wonder how long the retail version will last.
But once I get an Series X, I will opt in for dev mode almost instantly as well.
I must note one limitation which I have heared some people talk about for dev mode retroarch; games bigger then 2GB tend to have some issues loading. (correct me if im wrong here ... not an expert at all in this xbox realm)
Did I noticed correct that you have to activate the dev mode for 19 $?
And is there any progress or good how-to-do-it-easy manuals somewhere ?
Especially the handling of file transfer and updating Retroarch is still waiting for an easier way, isn't it?
First thanks for your responseUnfortunately there's no tutorial on here. Maybe on some discords.
I'm using the "commercial" ver. of the app so I do not have the dev mode, I plan to buy it when the emulators will be more advanced.
For the file transfer you can use just usb hdd for your games, but for the ps2 you have to put them on ssd of the console itself. There's this "My Files Explorer" I used it to transfer games and it's good enough. I also saw somewhere ftp clients, but not sure where.
First thanks for your response
There isn't a chance to get the commercial version anymore, is it?
Yep, I found many vids and infos, but nothing that feels complete or up-to-date.
Is there an advancement anyway, some kind of progress thread only for XBOX One/Series ?
So, I can read all roms and isos from USB (except for PS2), so without the size limit of the internal SSD, right ?
Can I select the USB in the "Load Content" section ?
Do I really need to save different configs for each system and load them before change a system ?
Or is it possible to connect content or playlists to a special configuration ?
And what about playlists. Do I have to build them via PC or RetroArch itself ?
