Who? Oh, that archaic "cool" and "radical" 90's platformer that got revived in 2017, right. Him.
That's the problem with modelling your mascot as a "competitor with attitude" - that "attitude" automatically dates the mascot, since attitudes change. Never liked 'im; my childhood was in the 2000s, and the only Sonic show I watched, eventually, was the short-lived Sonic Underground, where he had a brother and a sister, for some reason.

Actually 2010 and 2011 were decent years, I suppose. Apart from Colours and Generations, and Mania, the rest of 'em between like 1999 and now have been trash. They don't count.

sonic adventure games are good for 3D sonic games.

sonic heroes was MEH....

Shadow the hedgehog was different but kinda meh kinda bad.

you know how bad sonic 06 is.... never played it so i can't judge it.

i like the DS sonic rush games (not the RPG one)

play sonic gen's on 3DS years ago i like it.

i don't recall anything about sonic color's or the one that was super mario galaxy knock off but with sonic.

played sonic 4 both games.

the wii story book sonic's don't get me started on those....

other wise that's it i can recall....

My point was that Nintendo is stingy.. Think of all that goes into a modern open world etc game and look at what Nintendo puts out. After BOTW I thought they were finally going to start putting in the effort to make modern games but no.. Sakurai acts like adding characters to a fighting game is like running 5 marathons a day or something.. The robust library of classic games available on Nes Snes via switch online... So I when i saw this scintillating news bulliten I decided to make a joke about Nintendo that you didn't get, but couldn't resist dawning your white knight armour..

You didn't have to explain this. I understood what you meant, I just think you miss the point that Puyo Puyo Tetris is not made by Nintendo and they have pretty much nothing to do with it. Yet you drew the connection. So you either saw a colorful game and prematurely thought "This must be a Nintendo game" or you just want to rant about Nintendo no matter if they are involved or not. I understand what you were joking about, but I don't think it's funny in this exact context. It's more like making Apple responsible for exploding Samsung phones.

Doing 4w3r all the time will yield you nothing though. Even in PPT1/2 it's a risky strat, and the reward at lower level is not great in the slightest, specially if you wish to improve

You'll love Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles (cue jokes) are quite absolutely not in that game.

I’d say calling them all trash is a bit of a stretch, sonic adventure 2 was pretty good, the advance games were pretty fun, and so was the rush series, Sonic unleashed was pretty decent, and so was sonic heroes, sonic riders was pretty fun(zero gravity wasn’t that great, and we don’t talk about sonic free riders)

ehh...let's get specific here, the sonic stages in unleashed where fine...the warehog sections where garbage...I am speaking from playing the wii version...from what I heard the wii/ps2 versions are different from the 360/ps3 versions?

Don't think they'll do anything to the people, but as I said, can't really expect anything good from the game at this point. The stain is there and it's plainly visible. They'll release the cosmetic content over time, somehow rerelease ppt1 engine on pc to match ppt2 just like they did with ppch (if they do), and let it die a slow and painful death in the depths of denuvo

The best place to play games is on PS5-

damn that's really depressing T_T... - i know how it feels though...it has happened to games that my sibling and i love dearly - see it die horribly because the company wanna be greedy.

Surprisingly the demo for Sonic 06 is actually pretty good. They bothered to fix the bugs in the demo but what you're actually getting if you buy the game after playing the demo is not at all what you were led to believe. False advertising at its finest.
Someone actually went and made a PC remake that fixes all the bugs. Fans do what Segadon't. Sonic P-06
