When trying to generate a GC pack I have the exact same "Unhandled exception has occurred" error here. Somebody can suggest what can we do please?

I already tried to remove the "read only" folder setting and placed both .iso and .exe in the same folder but no luck.
I'm using WIN7 and .NET latest version

Hi all,

I tried to use the WiiVC Injector for the first time today. Unfortunately I got an error at around 2/3 of the process saying something about Jit debugging (screenshot unfortunately only in German). Do you possibly have an idea what I need to do to make it work? I am usually a Mac user and not that familiar with the Windows world.
Many thanks,
Philipp

Hi, I've got a bunch of GC injects, and I'd like to be able to change game settings without needing to re-inject every time (I'm on a Chromebook right now, so I can't even do that at the moment). Is there some sort of way to change inject settings?

The exception bug hit me after I moved to a new conputer, but managed to workaround it.

Piratesepiroth's fork has a bug which prevents it from properly download and prepare the support files from ninty. OP's original exe succeeds at this.

After all files are cached, both versions work.

Edit: piratesepiroth's fork doesn't work really. It finishes but creates an empty folder.

Do i need to softmod vWii to run these injectors on a CFW Wii Menu?
Hello,

if you want to play your wii games from the vwii menu of the wii U (with usb loader gx, wiiflow or configurable loader v70), then yes you have to hack the vwii menu of the wii U.

If you want to play your wii games from the wii U menu, then you have to follow this guide first (either haxchi or mocka)==>https://wiiu.hacks.guide/#/
and then follow this ==>https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-wiivc-injector-script-gc-wii-homebrew-support.483577/

I'm using 3.0.1 of this program to inject Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 and 2 games, but, once i install them in my wiiu, only 1 of them show up as '???' and since it's unplayable that way, i'm forced to delete it.

How to solve this issue?
I used the WiiVC injector tool to inject the Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 and 2 games and noticed that both games had the same Internal Game Title ID GGPE / 47475045. Maybe just one game will work in the Wii U at a time. You can try swapping them. Can we change the Internal Game Title ID of one of the two games?

Update: I went ahead and change the Pre-generated Title ID within the Meta Options tab. For the game Mario Kart Arcade GP, I changed the last 4 digits from 5045 to be 9999. Now I have both Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 and 2 games installed in the same usb hard drive. Both games worked just fine.

Thank you so much! I had the same problem and with your tip I did the injection and it worked. Both games are installed on the same HDD.

Hi all. Wondering on what version of Windows ppl are successfully running this program? I'm on Win 8.1 x64 wth .NET Framework v4.5.2, and having a hell of a time getting the required .NET v3.5 framework installed.

Also, is there *any* other way to do WiiVC injection for GCN/Wii titles besides this program? CLI's don't scare me :)

I've only used a very old version with two games. I think I was on windows 7 at the time.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
