Is there any chances to lower power consumption? Great work anyway!

Not really much. :(
I need to retract that statement, because I was kinda stretching the truth, I only added a Vblank interrupt in certain parts of the kernel lmenu when there needed to be.

Ah ok. I don't know how the Ez Team built the Omega but Evedrive gba is draining very low power compared to Omega. I guess it's the hardware and parts.

I recently bought an EZ Flash Omega, and added this 'Simple' theme (the release from december 3rd). However, when I want to start up GBA games, they either just stay stuck on a blank screen, or freeze on one of the opening screens of the game itself.
It doesn't matter if I do a clean boot, or boot with addons, or if the game is written to NORflash.
Weirdly enough, the only games I've been able to start, are NES roms.
I've tried 2 different SD-cards: 1 with 8GB and 1 of 16GB, both formattered with 32kb clusters
Any suggestions on what the issue could be?

I've tried it in both a GBA console and in a GBA SP ags-001 with the same results

EDIT: upon further investigation, it works in the old-skool GBA with new batteries. But just not on the SP (with plugged in charger). Maybe it's a power issue?

I'm starting to suspect it's the cart itself that's faulty. Tried with the original kernel and got the same issues. Gonna see if the developer that's on the forum here has an idea, or otherwise return it to the seller.
In any case, the Simple theme looks great! Lots of handy stuff in there.

How would i go about changing only some graphics for this? I see some images in the source, I've tried to edit them and compile, however, when I update the kernel with the compiled file, the changes aren't applied

Just editing the images won't work. There's a batch file that will convert the images into the proper data that the system can read. It's in the "Grit" directory.

Thanks a lot! I recreated the DS Lite firmware look with your custom firmware! I also looked at the code for a bit and I made all the text full caps as it's easier to read for me.

Another thing though, I seem to have some issues with savestates when I play Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, when I load a savestate, the screen gets all messy, and it looks a bit like random noise, and after a short while the screen turns black. Soft resetting and such also don't work after that has happened. Is this a known issue? And also, I can't seem to access the cheat menu even though I have cheats enabled in the addons and I also downloaded the cheat library.

Thanks for your amazing work nonetheless!

Make sure you put the CHEAT folder in the SYSTEM folder.
As For Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, I don"t know of there is much of a fix. Save states are a little janky on this cartridge.

A yea the CHEAT folder was still in the root directory hehe. And for the savestates oh well.

Another thing though, since I used your code to customize the graphics, would I be allowed to make it a fork and get my stuff on github as well?

Sure, go ahead as long as you make it clear that it's a fork! :)

Hello! First of all, thank you for your amazing work! This theme has been my favorite theme since the day I bought my omega.

I do have a few questions if you don't mind. I saw a post recently that can allow us to create custom UIs for the theme. I tried to create my own custom UI from the file I downloaded from github but upon checking the version that I was able to build is version 3.41 from the help screen. May I please seek for your advise/assistance on how can I update the one I compiled from github to version 3.42 posted on the previous page?

I also created a custom image for the no image preview but the changes that I have made were not included on the build I created, only the ones on the source/images/dark folder were updated and included upon building. Apologies for this other noob question I have as I don't have much background in programming or coding, but is there a way as well to modify the NOTFOUND image from the images folder? or apply it to the kernel I will build from the github files I have downloaded?

Thank you very much in advance!

There is a script in the "Grit" folder that will convert your images into the proper format.
Also, make sure you grab the latest source code. The source code on GitHub right now is v3.42
