The problems in this port (aren't very serious) are the microslowdowns and the controls.
The first problem i believe that will be solved with some updates will coming soon, and the second, is only to copy some user's configuration that have as a base the PlayStation 2 controls. (it is difficult to do it alone)

Sorry for my bad english, i just learning:P

Thanks to Exzap the GTA 3 port now runs in Cemu! This is probably really unexciting for the enduser, but will make development and debugging easier.

Yes, I'm also still alive and working on the port. Just a bit stressed out.
The water issues are driving me crazy haha.

Besides some frame dips and the already reported graphical bugs, runs pretty good for a first release! Using re3.rpx through Homebrew Launcher, and the retail discs installation files, 886 MB total.

A problem i had when remapping: some options don't seem to respond to anything on the controller. I had this happen with "Next Target", so i had to quit with the Home button.

Waiting for the next release. :yayps3:

Hi,

Just tested all missions completed from the first Island.

Runs great, no major issues apart from one crash on the salvatore has called a meeting. Reloaded and did not crash on second attempt.

Game runs smoothly with minor hiccups, just like it used to on my pc back in the day.

May try and force 16 bit color depth if it works to see if I can smooth the frame pacing out a bit.

Im using an ext mechanical hdd and wii u pro controller (works fine on gamepad too)

I was able to remap the controls to my liking no issue. Only one issue I can only cycle to next target when aiming not previous target (unable to map)

Many thanks for the great efforts on this!!

I finally finished the Update!
Changelog:
- Fix colors on pause menu and button hints
- Fix water rendering
- Fix settings not being saved
- Add proper support for trails/motion blur (disabled by default)
- Keep the frontend loaded (avoids the 2-3 second freezes when pausing the game)
- Support EAX and EAX3 for audio
- Add crashhandler and add more info to assert screen
In case you get a crash screen, please send an image of it.
- Some performance and stability improvements
- All changes and fixes from the main re3 repo
- Maybe even more things I forgot to list here

How to update:
Update the Homebrew Launcher version:

- Download the latest 're3.rpx' and 'gamefiles.zip' from the releases page.
- Copy the 're3.rpx' and the contents of the 'gamefiles.zip' to 'wiiu/apps/re3' on your SD Card. (Overwrite any already existing files)
- Delete the 'txd.img' and 'txd.dir' in the 'wiiu/apps/re3/models' folder on your SD Card.
Update the Channel:
- Remove the currently installed channel via Data Management. This won't remove any save files since they are stored on the SD Card.
- Re-follow the 'Install as channel' steps in the OP.
- Delete the 'txd.img' and 'txd.dir' in the 'wiiu/apps/re3/models' folder on your SD Card.

Hmm I can confirm this.
I'll see what I can do to fix that.
This might be a re3 issue.
