Told ya a second port of CD had a purpose... totally.

This port is based off of Rubberduckycooly's decompilation.

If you run into any issues, please check the source repository first; most of the known issues are not exclusive to this port. (Including the lack of a proper title screen.)

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how can I change the button mappings? Right now, A and B are mapped to B and Y, respectively, and I want to change that.

There is a settings.ini file in the sonic1_s12013/sonic2_s22013 folders.

Edit the controller settings:
[Controller 1]
; Controller Mappings for P1 (Based on: https://wiki.libsdl.org/SDL_GameControllerButton)
Up=11
Down=12
Left=13
Right=14
A=0
B=3
C=2
Start=6

Maybe try changing B or C to 4 or 5.

I don't understand the difference between the fork and the « not-fork », don't want to start dramas again tho, it's a genuine question, maybe somebody could explain ? It's kinda confusing since there's also other ports from other engines if I understand correctly ?
Anyway I'll try that, seems really cool, thanks a lot for your work

Cool release though with iOS and Android it's not many that'll bother with it. Some, I'd bet.

An 8" or 10" tablet, a free copy of the game from the store and an adblocker (or play it offline) and you've got the full experience. No hack needed.

Finally, now I can get crushed in Marble Zone in glorious 16 by 9 aspect ratio on something that isn't a slab of glass.

Sonic 1 act 2 just after the spikes between the boulder if you jump over the spikes and land in the area with the monitors I think my settings were S1+3 I had lightning sheild but spin dashed through the monitors and the wall and crashed the game.
