Hardware PS3 Power Light Doesn't Turn Green When Power Button Is Pressed

My PS3 was working just fine the day before this post. Now when the power button is pressed, the red light turns green for a split second and then the power light turns off entirely. The fans are clean, the hard drive isnt dead, so I'm wondering if something may have gotten corrupted.
