I'm going to readback the thread incase it was covered, but I'm having an issue with this.

Latest NS-USBLoader & AwooInstaller.

During installation, probably about 3/5 minutes in, AwooInstaller crashes and thus NS-USBLoader stops sending data.

Fresh install of latest Atmosphere with 10.3 (I believe, I know it's 10.x anyways).

Seems like installing through USB is rather very unstable?

I used to have this problem to, make sure you have the very latest build of Awoo & ns loader

I'll double check that I have latest on both. A similar issue was track back on page 10, so atleast it's common enough I know that it's not a me problem, which today is nice.

Are you starting Awoo in applet mode? Try title override method (hold r while opening a game).
IDK, works for me.. On AMS v10.1.0

try another usb cable
Can't be the cable, I've tried it with 2 different cables now, installing stuff from a usb drive through the dock sometimes crashes too. Not using Exfat, sd card comes up as clean and healthy. And my crashes don't always happen. It's weird, annoying, but I'm getting some stuff installed now. Most 99% of my crashes are when I'm installing to the internal nand (in this case, Internal Nand is EmuNand).

then it must be something with you sd card it may shows as healthy but dosnt mean that it is
and you dont have to install the game directly on your Nand - EmuNAND you can install them on the sd card and then just move them from setting

Yeah I've taken to doing just that. Install it to the SD card itself, then moving them to the EmuNand-nand.

Atleast it's working! Thanks for the tips folks.

I keep getting ''NS not found in connected USB devices''

I have used Zadig to install drivers as explained, administrator mode, and in device manager there is 'LibUSKBK' device, underneath there is Tinfoil(Interface 0) and Tinfoil (Interface 1)

What am I doing wrong? I'm using a USB A>C on Windows 10, using the latest release from Git. The cable is fine for data transfer as I use it for other devices.

are you trying to install games with Tinfoil better use installers like Awoo, Tinleaf or TinWoo
when connected if installed properly in device manager under Libusbk should says "Nintendo Switch" when you open one of these
installers it should change to "Nintendo Switch (Homebrew mode)"
then just pick "Install Over USB" and use NS-USBLoader to send the game files

I will try this today, thank you.

EDIT - yes it works with Awoo, cool.

Tinfoil does not work with ns-usbloader, use nut: https://github.com/blawar/nut

there is a driver exe you should use in releases.

I just downloaded the latest version but cannot figure out how to install this on my computer. Instructions for install would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Install Java runtime environment. Then launch the file.

Thanks - I am getting a pop up that says applet mode not supported when opening tinwoo - and I am trying to install a game but nothing is happening. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Yes....do it via Title takeover Hold R and run any game you have installed and you should go into the HB Menu then choose Tinwoo and you should no longer get the Applet mode popup
