I understand what the point of the loud shutter sound is, but I'd like to play the DSiWare port of Rayman 1 and it takes an actual picture of you at every checkpoint, making the shutter sound meaning I can't play the game in public spaces because I don't want the loud shutter going off every time I want to use a checkpoint. This 'feature' for some reason can't be turned off in-game.

So can any homebrew just disable the sound? Thanks.

I've seen a github link floating around for a solution, but the link was dead.
I just played Tearaway on the train and suddenly a loud shutter sound played while taking an ingame picture :/
I had no idea it wasn't affected by the volume settings.

The shutter sound is Japanese law at work. This is to prevent someone taking secret photos. All smartphones for the Japanese market have this with no way to turn it off.
