Hacking Tinfoil updated my switch

I opened up tinfoil on my switch, and suddenly a system updated happend and now my switch doesn't work. i'm using atmosphere.

Does Tinfoil even deal with system updates?

I thought it was game updates only.

It does if you paid for xecuter. But the update probably came from nintendo. You need to do it manually on tinfoil.

i opened up tinfoil, and it said something along the lines of "your system has been updated, it will now restart".

Thats not Tinfoil, thats Nintendo. These System updates pop up reguardless what you select. It would come up if you selected a game as well. If you do not want to update, you need to set up 90DNS to block Nintendo servers

did not know that, thanks. do you what i can do to fix this now? it says "fatal error: [NXBOOT] unable to identify package 1!"

Just update to atmosphere 16 and new signpatches. Everything wont work properly but it s better than non working cfw.
