This means if you have badluck you need to switch your OS to Atmosphere if there will be no future updates for SXOS, but currently nobody knows whats going on.
it is my understanding that RCM consoles are ok (you can boot emunand even if OFW is 11), the issues are only on the new consoles with the modchip.
can someone please confirm?
RCM work fine as expected but there are some people who say they have problem with game cart. Updated sysnand to 11 and looked around. Now back to CFW.

So does this update actually breaks SXOS emunand on 10.2?
Edit: To clear up the confusion that I myself and some others are having the ver 1 Switch with RCM jig will still be able to boot into 10.2/older emunand even with the sysnand updated to FW11. This new update targets mainly ipatch units and new switch models with core installed.
Source: Personally updated clean sysnand on v1 RCM switch to FW11 and successfully booted into SX 10.2 emunand without any issues. Do take note that emunand will not work on ipatched & mariko units that have updated sysnand to FW11.

true, but it shouldn't require modding to do that Nintendo should listen and add those features mainly eshop music and themes forthe most part the eshop(virtual console) is a maybe but the themes and eshop music is a must and i work along side them and even i think they are being too stubborn

I update my switch to the latest firmware 11.0 in my OFW
than my system shut down so i try to boot the system to CFW or OFW
i see (sx os) splash screen then black screen

Wonder if we’ll still be able to boot using Hekate/Atmosphere using the SX Core chips once they’re updated for 11.0 - if the worst happens and no more SXOS updates come out, and nobody makes an alternative firmware for the chip
it looks like Atmos may be about done. SciresM removed the 11.0 support issue topic and posted the repo
