Hacking Question Change the firmware on sx core chip to atmosphere

Hello,

is there a proper way to change the firmware from sx os to atmosphere ? As im a total noob when it comes to nintedo switch (new in the "scene") and people always say atmosphere is way better, i want to give atmosphere a try but from what ive heard is that its not that easy or maybe impossible. Is there anyone who did it already without any problems ? Im using the v2 core chip btw with a mariko switch.

No Atmosphere dosnt support Mariko yet so you are Stuck with SXOS

For V2 this is not possible at the moment.

(It's being worked on, alongside an alternate firmware for the chip itself so it can boot it without clearing keys)

Dont believe the People, at the moment there is no need to switch to Atmosphere if your SXOS is running well.

Some homebrew and sys modules will not work on sx os and require atmosphere. I use sx os because xci mounting is super handy with only a 32gb SD card. For everything else, especially hombrew and cheating I use atmosphere.

To be honest, i have also both installed on dual boot, but 99% works with SXOS, there are really only some deep homebrews which dont work correctly with SXOS, even cheats works fine for me, the Cheat list from Gbatemp for SXOS works fine.

I guess for the average user its more than enough

and i guess this is here the case.

We do have the possibility of SXOS not being continued, which will screw users over considering the new firmware that dropped like a day ago
