I noticed that games work on the switch when installed on NAND and not on SD Card. I have a 512GB SD card which I formatted to FAT32 and installed games on it, it was a hit and miss, some games would install others not sometimes with the NCA verification and registration issues. When I installed FIFA21 on SD the game icon was black with a spinning load icon in the middle. However, when I installed it on NAND it worked. However, if it does fail or gets stuck on NAND install, I must warn that it takes space. FIFA21 failed on NAND my first time because my mom moved my switch and the USB was momentarily disconnected when installing with Awoo Installer 1.3.3 so this caused me to run out of place and couldn't install it again. So I had to HARD RESET my switch. My switch is banned so I thought maybe I can't log in again into the switch after the reset. But it didn't matter because all communication to Nintendo is blocked cause my switch is banned. So I ended up resetting it and went through the whole setup and installed FIFA21 again on the NAND and this time it worked to my surprise. So now I was sure it was my SD card with the problem. Either the FAT32 because it can't store files larger than 4GB or that there is something wrong with the SD itself and also in ExFat the files get corrupted but, luckily I had a second SD card which is a 32GB and I formatted that to ExFat just to try and see if the same problem persists. This time the Game worked and Installed correctly as well on an ExFat formatted SD card but the storage is only 32GB. So I think I need to buy a better SD Card with higher storage and not a cheap one like my 512GB microSD card. BTW, I think this is one way that solves the NCA Verification Errors and I have not tried this on Tinfoil or Lithium, or Goldleaf simply because I find it way easier to used Awoo hand in hand with NS-USB loader. I hope this helps and explains that the games may not be corrupt it just might be the cheap SD cards. So to see if your game is corrupt, try installing to NAND if you want to risk a HARD RESET, I Have also had luck with installing other games that wouldn't install before or would give the error message that "game could not load go back to the home menu and try again" or something like that or that some games are installed but show that they are corrupt but may actually be not. I have tried Mega Man 11 and Super Mario Maker 2 etc. and these worked fine. I hope I have contributed in this regard to the Homebrew community. Thanks and have a fantastic day.

I dont think it is actually related to the format, but rather to the SD card that seems most likely fake tbh.

You should be able to install games on NAND or SD regardless of the format of the SD card.

I now formatted my 512GB SD card back to ExFat and many of my games are working through Awoo Installer
