Download links are down except for the "next" build, which apparently isn't the best version. Does anyone have a copy of 1.5.4-998?

I've just downloaded the emulator and it seems to work just fine with small games like Zenonia and Cave Story. Thing is, I was reading the Q&A and I noticed something weird. It says that the Wii U will try to format any USB connected to the console. So, should I unplug my USB drives every time I want to play PSP games? Thanks in advance to anyone who will answer.

Strange thing, when I change options, it has very few impact (especially on speed). It makes me think that it's more a matter of console/app/games compatibility than a matter of hardware limitation of the WiiU...
Which setup do you generally advise ?
My setup for most of the games (which is close to the default setup) :
- Simulate block transfer effect Enabled
- Software rendering Disabled
- Frameskipping 1
- Auto Frameskip E
- Prevent FPS from exceeding 60 E
- Alternative speed unlimited
- Postprocessing shader Off
- Fullscreen E
- Rendering resolution 1X
- Hardware transform E
- Sotware Skinnning D
- Vertex Cache D
- Lazy texture caching D
- Retain changed textures D
- Disable slower effects D
- Spline/Bezier curves quality High
-Hardware tesselation D
- Upscale level Off
- Upscale type xBRZ
- Deposterize E
- Anisotropic filtering 8X
- Texture filtering auto
- Screen scaling filter Linear
- Timer hack D
- Disable stencil test D

I'm also not sure to understand how frameskipping works. Usually when auto frameskipping is enabled, you cannot enter a static value (or it has no effect). Here it seems even when auto frameskipping is enabled, changing the static value has an effect. It seems the static value is the minimal value and if you enable auto it can go beyond this value (but not under). Am I right ?

I think by inserting the frameskip value and keeping the auto-frameskipping box checked, the emulator would skip frame whenever necessary up to that value. So getting back to you, i think rather than it being minimal value, its more like maximum value of frame the emulator is allowed to skip.

By the way, is the compatibility chart still maintained? I would love to contribute a few from my own testing.

How does ultimate ghosts and goblins perform? If it runs full speed I might download this emu again, from memory it was laggy a few years ago.

I tested it on the next build, playable? yes, but not full speed.

As stated in the compatibility chart, the game crashes on stage 3 using older build. However, I couldn't confirm whether that is still the case with the latest build.

Hi, just tried the EU version with my standard setup (see above). No issue and full speed :). Havn't reached the third level yet...
I asked the compatibility list author for Editing rights to add the few games I tested. We'll see if I get an answer.
Bye
