My bad! I thought you had made it, I'll fix it in the OP. By the way, is using NSCBuilder as easy as providing the nsp and letting it do it's thing? Or are there a few more additional steps I'd have to take to extract a few audio files?Have you tried the NSCBuilder? that one should be able to extract whatever you need!

Most games should have one of the folders containing a romfs folder with all the files inside - you just need to find the right one.
I'm extracting a DLC nsp by itself, is that the problem? Do I need to merge the Base, update, and DLC and THEN extract?
Depends on what you're trying to do. Some dlcs are completely downloaded with all its content, like Octo Expansion, whereas others are simply a "key" that unlocks content within the main game files, such as SSBU
The file that I have is over 2GB in size, that should mean it isn't just the keys, assuming the DLC unlocker would be like 200KB in size, right?
Then I'm not sure what to do from this point, if the tool isn't returning some files is there something I'm doing wrong?
You're probably doing something wrong, yeah. The files should be inside folders in NSCB_extracted
