Hacking People who ordered DSTT from Deal Extreme

DX had previously offered/promised to send out DSTTs, if you were willing to accept differently-colored components. I opened a ticket as demanded, because I really don't care about the rumble pak anyway. It sounded like they had black and white combinations of the DSTT in stock. But they didn't. I just received an email the other day stating that they would ship out my order as soon as DSTTs were in. Bummer!

Good thing that I already have my good-old R4. And I'm picking up the DX-bought F-Card for my fiancee at customs.
So I don't care too much about the delay. And I'm actually kinda glad that I don't have to buy a rumble pack I don't need or want. GBA pak would be nice though.

Just got an email for Deal Extreme that are out of stock of DSTT for about 2 weeks.
Plus they have loads of back orders to sort out first.
It took me 6 weeks to get my R4 which I ordered on the the 28th Nov 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i still haven't got my ttds from Dealextreme
but i did get my ttds from minionlinestore which i ordered on the 28th (to the uk) & i have to say its a great cart & with rubbish.guys skin it looks awesome as well

I cancelled mine. The color of the rumble back was a very lame excuse why not to ship product. deposited the money back in the bank.

I've opened one of my dstt cards, and there is no bump anymore. there is a cutout in inside of the casing, but the internals look like the r4ds. so one side is flat and the other side is the cpu, resistors and sd slot.

Have yet to receive the DSTT 2GB Combo from DealExtreme, but the DSTT from GameYeeeah just arrived and I'm absolutely loving it!

They have some amazing deals over at DealExtreme, the only bad thing is their customer support and their untimely shipments. If you can handle that, it's well worth the wait.

well, i just ordered my barebone dstt (no rumble, just card and adapter) about three days ago... wish me luck

i will keep you guys updated. from what i see, the wait is generally about a month from HK to UK. hopefully it wont be much longer for the US

I ordered my barebone DSTT from them on Dec 21st and it arrived here yesterday (I live in California)

So far I'm liking the card, it definitely isn't as stable as an R4 card, but i'm pretty optimistic that with a few firmware updates it'll be near there.

Games load a couple seconds faster from it compared to the R4 it seems.
