Just wondering is it common for TwilightMenu++ ( version 17.0.0) to be slow in loading up at times? It seems to be intermittent, sometimes it loads within seconds other times it feels like 15+ or more.

I went from 64GB (32KB cluster), Sandisk Ultra (genuine no error) to 256 Sandisk Ultra (64KB) did the formatting and h2testw as suggested by @TurdPooCharger all ok, no error, nothing.

All games run fine, no issues. Also, I didn't used Twilight++ much on 64GB but thought I would utilize it to play NDS games on my new 256 GB so I dunno if it runs better with 64GB?

Luma version 10.2.1 (newest version for 3DS firmware: 11.14.0-46)
B8S ver. 1.3

Basically, Twilight runs fine just at times it loads up slow and then fast intermittently. Wanted to know if this is normal?

TIA.

If it feels like its taking ages you can press Home and then B (or was it A?) like it says on the menu to give it a bit of jumpstart but I noticed these random blips as well when upgrading the card size/more titles.

Most likely has to do with the 3DS architecture itself and filesystem when it comes to reading whats on there as a smaller card is always faster for everything. One thing I did note is that there was a big difference between a regular Class 10 card and the A1 version of the same brand so that might be worth looking into as I found the delays irritating and upgraded.

Noted on the jumpstart info, will try that. This is the card am using:

Thats cool, like I said its the trade off between using more space and the slowness of the 3DS file system when it comes to cataloging everything.

Every time Bowser bumps into Mario for a fighting battle... The GBA Game freezes! Is there any fix for this? Because I just recently yesterday downloaded this ROM file off my PC to my 2DS XL. Or did I do something wrong with one of the "_gba" files?

You mean disabling BIOS intro? If so then I'll try that fix.

Disable bios or any other intros like the twilight menu intro and if you have a dsi or ds intro on shut that off put a non complex theme like r4 wood on loads up much faster and have it boot straight to the theme my card is also formatted with 32k not 64k also.

So I disabled the BIOS intro... Nothing's fixed.

Wonder if @Robz8 (hate to unnecessarily ping) would fix the game freezing problem with some certain GBA Games...

Can I give you an alternative advice?...

If you actually have a 3ds family console and is modded (with B9S + Luma CFW), then better keep and eye on this to load .gba games (instead of TWLMenu + GBARunner2):

https://gbatemp.net/threads/open_agb_firm-discussion-thread.570844/
Thank you, and I have just twelve hours ago converted every GBA ROM Files to CIA! :)
Except that the four GBA Games each have an individual problem...
1. Super Mario Advance = "Save Data is Corrupt"
2. Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3 = "Your Save Data is Corrupted"
3. Pokemon Sapphire = Screen Goes Blank after the Startup Scene of the GBA Intro
4. Pokemon LeafGreen = Same with Pokemon Sapphire

Any fix to these problems? Do they have to do with the Save Types when converting GBA ROM to CIA?

That option I reccomend to you doesn't nothing to see with .cia injected/converted files (open_agb_firm actually runs .gba files directly, however there are a bit of problems with some savedata type files)

Actually, screw it, I deleted the applications to GBA Games off from my 3DS since I give up on trying to fix the issue... Thanks for the advices anyway.

You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.

@BigOnYa I wanted to ask you about your experience with seeing south park. Most of the people a bit younger like my younger brother and cousins that are a few younger than me that saw kids found south park funny because of the curse words, kids at school, that seemed like liking the show on a very basic level.

I could not quite have a in depth discussion of the show.

How was it for you? As an adult. What did you find the most interesting part about it. Did you relate to the parents of the kids and their situations. Was it satires, the commentary on society. The references on celebrities' and pop culture.

I remember seeing the very first episode back in the day, and have watched every episode since. I used to set my VCR to record them even, shows how long ago.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just like any comedies really, and cartoons have always been a favorite of mine. Family guy, American Dad, Futurama, Cleveland Show, Simpsons - I like them all.

South Park is great cause they always touch on relavent issues going on today, and make something funny out of it.

  • S @ salazarcosplay:
@BigOnYa were you always up to date on the current events and issues of the time or were there issues that you first found out thru south park
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Most of the time yea I knew, I watch and read the news regularly, but sometimes the Hollywood BS stuff, like concerning actors slip by me. I don't follow most Hollywood BS (example: the Kardasians)

  • S @ salazarcosplay:
@BigOnYa there were relevant issues before south park was made, that's why i think a south park prequel/spinoff would be great. Randy and his friends in their child hood
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, like them running in high school together, getting into stuff, and how they got hitched and had kids. And how the town of South Park was back then compared to now. That would be cool to see.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@salazarcosplay if they made a prequel, it would still be about current issues, cause it doesn't make sense to make it about stuff that happened 30 years ago that nobody cares about anymore
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's too late
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the older south park episodes about particular issues usually age poorly since the topic is no longer relevant
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
an exception is giant douche vs turd sandwich, that's always relevant :P
