It is true this technically works. There are a lot varaibles in your save file which break if not edited in PKHeX to fix this. (No, I am not offering assistence with that.)

These codes work perfectly fine and have been in use by dozens of users without any issue.
Just a head's up @Ultimos54, there are two new users in the forums: @blackmoon92 & @foxhidden who appear to have their Switches & games on French language settings. We have no code hunters able to verify if there is a memory shift due to the code hunters only being setup on English settings.
They have posted dozens of user error posts and seem to be ignoring my posting fresh screenshots of working cheats as well as other users chimming in that they are working fine. First, you need to be able to run a custom Firmware on your Switch. The Lite needs an Hardware mod to be able to do so.
If you have a Modded Lite, you can simply make a txt file (Named as the BuildID of the game)with the cheat you need inside the folder Atmosphere/contents/XXXXXXXXX/cheats (Replace the "X" with the Title ID of Sword or Shield)
Cool I have the nintendo switch lite the blue green one I'm guessing u have to have internet to do all that right...n what was the code for them I'm playing Pokemon sword at the moment
A simple Switch Lite isn't enough I'm afraid. You need a modchip that require hardware solding. If you have that already, simply follow the guide on page 1
Confused n it sound like a lot of hard work lol cause I'm trying to get like 999 master balls n 999 rare candy's..
You cannot use codes without a custom Firmware. And you can't have a custom firmware in a switch lite without the modchip SX lite installed . Simple as that.
