This is probably my favourite homebrew so far! I love it. Such a massive improvement over the Vita's LiveArea! Fantastic work.

@VitaHEX, can't thank you enough. I've already enabled Autoboot!

Doing the autoboot plugin. Dumb question, what's the titleid of Hex flow? I've never messed with plugins much.

Also displayed game version is not always accurate, ignore it for now.

I tried the latest version and for now no more crashes, and it's a lot smoother. Great!

Adding custom covers and keep getting a "Cannot load image" error.

All files are png/jpg, in the right place, and under 300px in width. Anyway to tell which boxart it is? Really don't want to upload and check one by one.

I get the same thing when I updated to 2.1

It only happened when I added some more covers. First like 20 were fine. I don't get it.

It's memory limitation in LPP with the new version so it can handle around 50-60 custom covers at the same time. I'm still trying to find a way to fix this issue.
If anyone has experience with lua and LPP specifically dm me.

HEX-Flow Launcher updated to v0.3 with improved performance thanks to async implementation and automatic covers download option.

Changelog:

Added option to Download Covers (Settings menu)
Images are now loaded async (thanks to Creckeryop)
Startup time now takes 3-4 seconds thanks to async
Added 1 new View option (3D Side view)
Improved Details page
Fixed fonts
Other bug fixes and improvements

Awesome! To download covers i just need to connect to wi-fi and open the app? If i alredy have covers added manually i have to delete them or when i download the app overwrites the old covers?

To download covers you need to open the Settings menu (Start button) and select "Download Covers", after that you press "Reload Covers Database" and they will appear.
You don't have to delete your covers any existing ones will be automatically replaced.

Online covers database is new so expect many missing covers, but it will grow over time.

HEX-Flow Launcher got a small hotfix update (v0.3.1) that addresses some issues.

Changelog v0.3.1:

Added 2 new theme colors (purple, orange)
Fixed centered text placement (thanks to Creckeryop)
Fixed issue that displays app names in two lines
Fixed "error 257" regarding path names

Covers database got a big update recently with the addition of 3769 PS Vita covers!
It is highly recommended to use the Download Covers feature within the app to get all the missing covers automatically.

Hi, i downloaded a bunch of covers with the new addition. I have a few suggestions for the future releases if it's possible. A short info of the game when you press triangle like plot, gameplay, ecc when show details, and a check on the database (pkgj?) if there are updates or dlc for that game. Basically similar to Aurora dash for Xbox 360.

Hi, I think the idea of providing basic information about games is interesting, this site is very complete and neat: http://vitagamesdb.com/
Information such as genre, game creators/publishers, release date, Title ID and covers for every region are included.
Perhaps some of that metadata (as well as covers) can be obtained "on demand" by HexFlow from this database by asking the author for permission.
