Does this include the exploit? Or do I need to detour to another path to be able to backup NAND?

I was asking XFlak about this about a month or two ago in the ModMii thread. I actually made a quick video about it for a friend who was trying to do it for them to follow. I just got to work but if you need the visual on how to do it and can wait about 10 hours I'll send you the video when I get home.

So it looks like I deleted the video because I can't find it on my computer. But here is a link to the ModMii thread where I asked help with doing a Virgin NAND Backup and XFlak's reply. (https://gbatemp.net/threads/modmii-for-windows-official-support-topic.207126/page-455#post-9146018). If you are still confused after reading that, let me know and I'll remake the video. But please do try it for yourself first.
I actually think the suggestion I made in my recent post quoted below might be easier to follow than the advice I gave u previously. I edited my post so you may have missed the additional info. Still great that you shared our related convo with the 'op'.

It includes the exploit [edit: I think? Working from memory... Actually now I'm thinking it doesn't. But if you run the main wizard first, then casper2bootmii before starting to execute the guide, an exploit will be saved to your sd card, and you can follow the modmii wizard guide (except after the exploit u will skip the step of installing hbc and bootmii and go right to the bootmii nand backup step)]

You can use the standard modmii wizard/ guide if u want, the only difference would be the installation of the HBC and bootmii before directing u to backup your nand
It's basically the same thing I told u, except you don't need to manually grab an exploit and directions for it

Hi! I'm noob here trying to install homebrew channel into my Wii.
My Wii version is 3.2U

I have been following the complete softmode guide, initial homebrew setup (<=4.2)

downloaded bannerbomb n hackmii installer, followed until step 6 where it says:

"You will see a Scam warning screen.
Wait for the message at the bottom to appear, then press 1."

but the screen freeze and the message at the bottom never shows. I pressed 1 and nothing happened. Did I do something wrong? I have downloaded and tried all the available bannerbomb version (aad1a, ad1f, aad20, etc... all 11 of them) some of them freeze immediately when i load the sd card. some of them freeze on the scam warning screen.

Help please...

I updated my Wii hack with ModMii, any channels or stuff I could add?
I answered in the Modmii thread.
Check out the just for fun apps in Modmii's download page 2. U can access these apps via the homebrew channel, or you can install forwarder channels to your system menu then launch the homebrew, allowing u to avoid using the hbc each time for apps you use frequently. There's a link in your modmii guide to my top channels thread, or just Google XFlak's top wii channels. At the bottom of this post you will find links to many other good resources for all kinds of channels.

What website should i get my roms from? i'm trying to download kirby's return to dreamland and it says it'll be done in a day
Edit: The time dropped to 4-6 hours, still a lot tbh
Edit 2: I've just realised this is like 10 years old..

unfortunately, we can't help with that. linking to warez is prohibited on the forums.

depends on the site and download speed you have. that sounds a bit high though. I just downloaded a switch game at 6.6GBs in less than 10 minutes.

not such a big deal for me, since I'm using a 1TB drive, and everything works. it might not be worth the time to convert 700+ games in case there's compatibility issues.

I heard about another format (think it was chd or something like that) with psx iso games to use on the psx classic, but I do have room for all of my games regardless, so maybe if there's some problems with certain games, it's best to leave as is.
