It would be very nice if someone could explain a little bit how to make this work. I'm sorry, I'm completely lost with this, but I'm very interested in giving it a try.

Anyway it did not work, when I connected an HDD UNIT, and gave it to open HDD, Goldleaf locks and does not follow.

Xor deleted the release on GitHub, but you can still download from Xor's discord or build yourself.

Been out of the loop with switch stuff for sometime. Was this just to transfer things? Or is it to actually install/play nsp/xci games from?

As goldleaf does not support installing nsz/xci - it's pretty useless.

When you make your own installer, which probably uses third-party sources, we'll see how useless it is.
