Hello.:)

thank you i will check that

If you want, you can try to get some used Examples from these:

P1010817.JPG

The Purple is the R4iTTfor DS v1.6 (with the Screw in the Backside !)
This Card works perfectly with TWiLight.
But maybe very hard to get....
Please Note this Card is NOT working on a non modded DSi/DSi XL with Firmware 1.4.5x !!
(works on DS/DS Lite/3DS Series)

The White is the 2018er Version
This Card works 99% with TWiLight.
Mostly Issues with Pokémon Black/White 1 and 2.
Unfortunately I have no Idea how good the 2019 and 2020 Version (or older too) works....

Thank you and
Good Luck.:)

Hello, I hope someone can give me some insight into my issue. I have searched for similar issues but havent found one, let alone an answer :(

I have installed CFW, and Unlauncher (Definitely working with and without SD card), used the HiyaCWF Helper to create the necessary files, waited for that to complete (where it says eject the sd card), everything seems to be installed correctly aside from TwighlightMenu++, console boots and shows CFW logo, then goes to normal home screen, from there I launch TwighlightMenu++, get splash screen and then it loads into an alternate homescreen where I can see folders and directories as icons. From there I try to run Twighlight Menu again it shows the splash screen again then just goes back to the alternate menu system, pretty sure something is wrong, but no idea what.

I have tried manually copying the files from the latest version over to the SD card, buit yield the same disappointing results.

Any help would be appreciated.

Im on the latest DSI firmware, and using a 1GB SD card formatted as FAT32 with default cluster size.

Cheers

All of this is normal.
What did you think TWiLight Menu++ was supposed to look like? :P

EDIT: Ah, the answer was a menu that looked like the OG DS menu. Just found out your thread. Nice that it's already been solved.

I was expecting bright sparkling animations and cool background images with unicorns and rainbows :rofl2:

v16.6.0: Final Hacktober (2020) release

Check here on how to update TWiLight Menu++:
This may be the final Hacktober (2020) release, but there will still be new TWiLight Menu++ updates to come!

What's new?
  • Added TWLMenu++ splash variation for Halloween!
  • `Expand ROM space in RAM` is now a per-game setting! Useful if you want fast loading without breaking other ROMs.
  • (@unresolvedsymbol) Added Slot 1 power saving. Unknown if this affects IR functionality.
  • (@unresolvedsymbol) Generic GBA border is now used in GBA mode.
Improvement
  • (@Pk11 and others) Updated translations.
Bug fixes
  • (@unresolvedsymbol) Fixed settings being reset for flashcard users.
  • slot1launch: Disabled card engine for DSTT. The flashcard should now boot.
  • slot1launch: Fixed soft-resetting.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
