I have never seen this "caught" message everyone is talking about. While I primarily set the Slots with PKHeX, I still have never seen any such message.

To be fair, I have NEVER added a Pokémon to a Slot that had a 1 in it's Catch Event Flag. I have always made sure the Catch Event Flag was 0 before adding any Pathways with the cheats.

For now, Slot 2 and Slot 3 codes seem to be working properly.

@SkyQueen, the issue is that the code for Slot 1 is not setting the correct value in memory. Which was what I was trying to show with the PKHeX screen shots. I am pretty sure that code is giving you that error because it's pointing at the wrong address in memory.

hey guys, back again with a crashless file for sword in edizon menu...
cheat notes:
for instakill, hold A during the attack
for IVs, turn on which stats you want maxed/zero'd
didn't fully test all cheats, just a quick test for menu crash, and cheat button triggers.

basic cheats only. no spawn cheats. raid lair cheats not added b/c they require cheat knowledge to activate.

edit: removed max money/watts. didn't work.

i mean, people need to know how to activate them correctly. i just skimmed the posts here and it seemed like people would need to know what to do to use them effectively. this is more of a no hassle file for basic cheats. i rather not trouble shoot other than cheats not working or menu crashing.

No, we had an individual find that one of the Pathway codes isn't working. So, I removed it from the opening thread. Pathway 2 and Pathway 3 codes are working fine. The most recent posts are all about this fact and that we are attempting to sort this out now to get a new code when @SkyQueen has a chance.

We don't need a TXT file (especially for only 1 version.) As stated in the opening post, everyone deserves codes! :D

i rather not trouble shoot other than cheats not working or menu crashing.
You already previously stated that nothing was tested so you clearly didn't get any of the codes from the openning topic which is entirely working codes.

i play sword so i made one for sword. you may think it's not needed, but i've posted this on the past versions and people have thanked me so i continued to update it. the one on the cheat DB crashes in edizon menu, so this is to make it simple for them.

like i said this is for simplicity, and at the current time, raid lair cheats aren't simply turn on/off so i chose not to add them.

The Pathway codes you provided at all proceed one after the other by +0x38:

This would explain why Slot 2 & 3 work. The save structure addresses that I provided you originally reflected this:

It's clear that Slot 2 (951C) & 3 (96CF) are near each other in memory. However, Slot 1 9A35 is not only at a different location but noticibly higher in memory than the other two.

I believe this is why your Slot 1 code points at the wrong memory address.

I hate to say this but that Slot 1 code is wrong and needs to be rehunted. You will need to confirm with PKHeX that the datablock 2227 is the one being updated.

There's no rush! You have already done a lot. So sorry that I let you think the intial code for Slot 1 was working.

the DB is compiled from the gbatemp cheat DB

this is the DB used in Cheats Updater and AIO Switch Updater

I cannot imagine a single soul coming to the cheats section of GBATemp is relaying upon those default databases. It's like all those websites out there claiming they have codes but never have anything more than a handful of day 1 codes.

I do not use the database feature. The folders list is so fast to search in Atomosphere if you don't add folders of games you don't own.

I tried so hard about a year ago to appeal to all these peeps about the cheat file structure to add Limit 1 Selection folders forever ago (as I used to set those up on the Action Replays) so that all the Pokémon/IV/Nature/Gender... any code where having more than one on at a time doesn't work... would be easy for people to use.

i said not ALL codes, i compared most codes from previous versions to just make sure the offset was changed and did a quick run to check codes were triggering. i modify some of the code triggers. also i got most codes from Falo's post since he plays sword exclusively since i know he tests them personally.

also, i don't see the big deal. i'm just posting what i use so if others can benefit then they can use it. you don't have to use my file, but others have the option.

you would be suprised how many OTHER people use the DB also it doesn't add cheats to games you don't use. the problem is you are taking this too personal. there are a lot of people who complain their edizon menu crashes and have no idea why. so i personally made a file for MYSELF because i know that the menu is very sensitive to
1. cheat naming
2. length of cheats
3. # of cheats

i chose to share my file in case anyone might want to use it.

you need to chill out. this isn't a serious topic. just continue maintaining your thread...im just sharing my file to others who might want a no hassle solution.

bruh, what's your problem? i didn't hijack your thread and OBVIOUSLY anyone can read the opening thread and compile their own list. BUT there are some people who might just want a simple cheat file they can just download and play instead of troubleshooting why their cheat file won't work. i shared mine since i play sword exclusively. there's already a few downloads so there's obviously some people who want to use it...also i posted this in your older threads before so idk why you're so anal about this now.

  9. Ask Lady to go on Adventure

Hello guys, is there any code to change the rental pokemon? They are pure crap as it is and I can't and I don't want to defeat a legendary using a liligant, really. It would be fun to change every rental pokemon for legends, this way we could fight and use many legends during our adventure and choose one in the end, or just change it to dragonite, salamence or other usefull pokemon, as it is i'm not finding it enjoyable.

Yeah unfortunately my slot one code was only visual just use Slot 2 and it should work fine

There is another Event Flag required to be adjusted in PKHeX/cheat codes to complete the "Spread the Word" side quest to activate the encounter with Spiritomb.

@SkyQueen, your code to set the player interaction counter is correct:

The spreading of Spiritomb's message has several Event Flags. (If you were to spread the word but between each of the 32 times, talk to the Tombstone, you would notice there are stages to the message.) Since neither the messages NOR the Spiritomb encounter are activated via the variable, here is what I assume is going on:

TALK TO PERSON FUNCTION:
Spead the Word integer = self + 1
if Spead the Word integer >= "Event Flag 1 AMOUNT" then Event Flag 1 = TRUE
      if Event Flag == 1, then (same but Event Flag 2).... etc.
(Sorry, I have not written real code in nearly two decades.)

I seem to recall there being between 3 to 6 of these different Tombstone messages. There must be an Event Flag for each one of them. You must need to activate ALL but the last EVENT FLAG with the code set to 0x1F (31) then talk with another player to trigger the final event flag.

I have a Sword save standing in front of the Tombstone without having activated the sidequest. I can hook you up with that @SkyQueen if you think you can find all the variables that change. (Sounds like a lot of work for something that would take a player a few minutes... so your call.)

How, you used my codes or you got Spiritomb legally first, and now rematch code works, or you did it with cheats from the start?

I'm testing those values written to that address believe me I tested every single one of those values thinking that that would spawn him but all it did was change the text on the stone I did this when I first posted that code in the first place
