That's what happened to me unless I used a forwarder.
Yeah, I was running it, and it just crashed for me. But I was trying to see if the Money Code still Worked, but since it is a new NRO I think, it did not work. Might be why mine crashed. Trying again.......
Seems to be running fine for me.
Also, it seems the MP3 works, but if you change the Station, or get into another Vehicle, the Tracks start from the very 1st Track.

GTA VC is being done by another guy using the foundations the OP of this thread laid out? (am i right?)
Would GTA SA on switch then also be theoretically possible ? (how about LCS? VCS? Bully? )
Is anyone working on SA atm? and where can i go to follow the VC progress?
I think SA, LCS and VCS are not possible because their Source would be needed.
1. Graber has done the PORT of re3 to Nintendo Switch. re3 has been done by the GTAmodding community. It started on mid-2019.
2. Current reVC (re3 Miami Branch) port has been done by Flex1911, using the re3 port by Graber, yeah.
3. There's no active decompilation project for SA, LCS, VCS or Bully at the moment.
W-wait a minute. Flex1911 has deleted the reVC fork as well. Good lord this port is the neverending story xD

You can already play Liberty City Stories & Vice City Stories via PPSSPP emulator on Switch at full speed nonetheless so i'm not sure why people are asking for something you can already run and play right now?...
The only port concern would be of course San Andreas

If I set 1080p it displays correctly on TV, but shrink on handheld, if I set 720p it displays correctly in handheld but overscan on TV...

re3 is an open-source reverse-engineered port of Grand Theft Auto 3 for PC, made by these guys on the right side (https://github.com/GTAmodding/re3). It also has a Vice City (Miami) branch, more unstable.
Graber ported that project to Switch and Flex1911 (and another GBATemp user before him) ported the Miami branch to Switch, using the Graber's re3 port as a base.
Check the latest post by GrAber. He is not porting Miami to Switch since it's unstable at the moment. In fact, Flex1911 port crashed randomly after two or three missions. It is probably completable but it requires tons of patience.

Happened to me too. I use sxos. I don’t think applet mode wasnt working in the album. I don’t know why.

I got it working, it happens it crashes when a language .gtx file from TEXT is missing, in the last package english is missing, so you need to overwrite the whole folder and not just replacing folders. Just make sure "models", "data", "TEXT" folders have all the files.

i reinstalled everything and used a forewarder but still crash my entire switch on gta3 splash screen, anyone with the same issue?
Just put the game files and all re3.nro on the same re3 folder (included the .exe) adn done, basically installed it yesterday and it works perfectly, and what crash error does give you?
I had to run the .wac file converter .bat file then copy over the decompressed audio files back into the audio folder
