Right I just want to give an update, I have been trying to get this going with a hidden partition after reading something in another thread.
This has probably been covered and mentioned and I have heard things but never listened, BUT different brand sd cards do make a difference!
I have been doing all my set up with an Integral sd card (bought as cheapest brand from Amazon) and I had all my above struggles, I had another branded sd card from Amazon (no logo on card so do not know the make) this just kept coming up with the sd card error like there was no card in it?
I have used Transcend in my other switches which have been great but didnt want to wait to order another one so found an 128gb Sandisk.
I formatted it to fat32, put in switch created hidden partition again. All set up fine, added license, this is where my issues have been.
Turned on, booted cfw loaded straight away!
Couldnt believe it. All these issues and the brand of the sd card was another one of the issues!

So check your sd card brands if you have issues like this, try and go with names mentioned to work.
As I said, sandisk and Transcend have worked well for me. Integral so now on my do not buy list!
Hope this helps someone!

I'm going with SanDisk, got a 64GB two weeks ago and had kept it in its package ever since. Unpacked it this morning, inserted into Switch Lite, it showed the splash screen. From there, I tried to create an EmuNAND, and it got until 13% before outputting error code 00FFFEB3. Out of curiosity, does your Switch Lite come up after going to sleep?

Hey guys if I buy a license key ahead of time, like not being able to activate it kuz my switch is on 11.0.1, is there anyway to verify that it’s legit?

For the integrated chipset; you buy the chipset and it generates a license request file that you use to get a key from the xecuter site. Is that what you're asking about?

Also, if you use Atmosphere 0.17 you can launch Daybreak to downgrade to 11.0.0 OFW and use sxos.

If changing FW never use ChoiDuJour with an SXOS system.

So I just bought an unpatched switch and it’s never been jailbroken / doesn’t need the chip I got the rcmloader, and I have a spot where I might be able to buy an sxos license key, but it could also possibly be a scam.. anyway I wanted to be able to test it once purchased but my switch is on 11.0.1, so u sure I can downgrade even tho i never jailbroke on previous versions? And will that just be on the emuNand side? Because I want to still be able to play online on sysnand

hey there,

getting the RCM key... that was hard like even a year ago... you cant really tell if its a scam or not until you try it I guess.

with those rigs, i think you can boot into the same bootloader menu and do a NAND backup - which you should try and do earnestly before anything else.

if you do get a working license then the link i shared will allow you to boot into a custom fw on an 11.0.1 system from that same bootloader menu.
then if you are able to do as the video details (putting everything on the SD and getting the ini) then youll be able to launch custom fw called atmposhere (v0.17 - in that bundle).
once in atmosphere, if you use that same RR bundle, there will be an executable (these are NROs) called daybreak.
if you use daybreak you can down grade your NAND and emuNAND to 11.0.0.
then you can launch the sx os again.
the only thing its launching the custom fw, you will have to get into the Recovery Mode (RCM) by doing that paper clip trick.

(I have never needed to do that specifically so Im sorry I cant walk you through that part exactly. Its just that you need that to give you the opportunity to launch the CFW.)
