How do the gender codes at the bottom work? tried them but they dont seem to do anything
They only work with Pokemon with two genders like Bulbasaur, and not with one gender like Jynx.
And they are useful with the "[21# Always Encounter (M) (Hold R)]" code, because all Pokemon are male, so if you want to encounter a correct Jynx you need to enable the "[Always Female Wild/Egg/Fossil Pokemon]", yeah so the codes are not perfect, but not useless, bye:D

I cant encounter legendaries that dont have a gender, even though the codes says for genderless

I'm trying to spawn in legendaries like Calyrex using the code but they are always Male/Female when they should be genderless. I have the genderless wild spokesmen code on
Ok so I didn't test gender codes on Shield/Sword, but now I can confirm the "[Always Genderless Wild/Egg/Fossil Pokemon]" doesn't work in 99,9% of uses (I managed to encounter a genderless Piloswine and Mamoswine in Sword, but didn't make a screenshot, tried again and i couldn't do it, but there is a solution for a encounter with a genderless Pokemon:
1. Use the code for Pokemon you wish to encounter, for example Clayrex.
2. Enter a wild battle with a genderless Pokemon like Cryogonal:

So until someone makes a working code you can do this, bye:D

There is a new method of obtaining Pokémon in the DLC that came with the version v1.3.0 update called: Dynamax Adventures. Pokémon encounter via Dynamax Adventures use an alternate calculation and memory location for determining Shiny-ness of Pokémon.

This is what we know about the game mechanic from the datamine community (tweet):

REQUEST: Shiny Star & Shiny Square for all Pokémon obtained in Dynamax Adventures.

I couldnt find the preorder bonus DLC anywhere so I had to make a cheat for them. If the preorder bonus does eventually show up than these are pretty obsolete. You can also change the skins for any Autobots using this guide if for some reason you don't have the DLC:

Final offset:
cleardot.gif

Arcee = F0
Bumblebee = 108
Grimlock = 120
Optimus = 138
Wheeljack = 150
Windblade = 168

Skin Value:
Default = 0
Neon = 1
Battle = 2
Gold = 3
Energon = 4
Nemesis Prime = 5 (Optimus Prime Only)
Goldfire Bumblebee = 5 (Bumblebee Only)

I might keep playing around to see if I cannot unlock the Decepticons for the campaign, but things get a little buggy when the game tries to load up skins that dont exist (don't try to play the game with the skin value of 0x5 for any character that is not Bumblebee or Optimus or it will corrupt your save and force you to delete.)

    I can't believe you got me with that

    I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

    I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    How are you doing?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

    That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    Man, that's beyond my brain :rofl: I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    That sounds really cool

    I know the basics but no strategy at all :rofl:
