New trailer for upcoming psychological horror game 'The Medium' showcases Dual Reality system

Bloober Team's next game, The Medium, is a few months from release. In this psychological horror title, you will be playing in both the real and the spirit world, sometimes at the same time. To help gamers get acquainted with its gameplay, the developers have published a 'Premonition video'. It serves as a quick guide explaining how you will experience both realities simultaneously through the "the Dual Reality system".

Discover a dark mystery only a medium can solve. Explore the real world and the spirit world at the same time. Use your psychic abilities to solve puzzles spanning both worlds, uncover deeply disturbing secrets, and survive encounters with The Maw - a monster born from an unspeakable tragedy.

The Medium launches this December 10th on PC, Xbox Series X & Series S and is available now for pre-order!

it was inspired by Silent Hill and they've even got the same composer, Akira Yamaoka, to work on this new game's audio score

Missed opportunity imo, they should have had the screen split like in the game thumbnail with character being able to walk in between screens maybe have a spirit or something on the other side

This is sick. It’s not often we see new play styles. I really like the concept here, and think a lot of opportunities could open up with the style.
