I have some multiple disc ps2 isos that I want to convert into pkg for my ps4. I tried it with a 2 disc iso. I used the ps2:classic converter. Added both isos and made pkg. I installed it but when I ran the game it says Disc one on the title screen. I'm not sure if it worked nor do I know how to switch discs. Can anyone help?

I've never tried this, but it might've worked. it might just be showing disc 1, since it doesn't know which disc your save is on until you access it. is the save on disc 2? what happens when you access it? this is sorta like how I have my 360 setup. I have all discs but disc 1 of games hidden. even though I'm loading up disc 1, the system will know to swap discs for my save. it's fool proof from what I've seen too.

another possibility is a hidden menu for swapping discs. I've been delving into the psx classic recently, and in the instructions, it says that the open button is for swapping discs, not physically opening the system. maybe it's a menu that you have to access. if you can't figure it out, try looking for an official game that's been released that's two discs and compare.

I don't have any save for the game. I would like to find one and test this.

Does that mean it didn't work? The game is xenosaga episode 2

Sound like you didn't build it correct, there is a FPKG of the Episode 1,2,3 together out there, I believe episode 3 is unplayable on PS4.

create a save, then see what the save looks like (compare it with a save at the end of the game or something, which you might be able to get on gamefaqs). I figured out saves on the psx classic btw through retroarch. it uses an entire memory card image, so you have to hex in the save block. if it's using an image, it might start with vm for its extension vm (stands for virtual memory) then sometimes a c (for card) or even vme (might not be able to do anything here as the e stands for encrypted which is broken on the ps3 at least).

I've only created one ps2 iso pkg for the ps4, and that was what else, mega man anniversary collection.

btw, good taste with games. I've beaten one or two of those xenosaga games. Kos-mos ftw! it has a lot of text if you like story-heavy games from what I remember. I used to not, but after playing through tales of the abyss on the 3ds, I grew to appreciate it. that's one damn good game that I didn't appreciate when it was originally on the ps2.

btw, speaking of that, I remember some sort of puzzle game in part 3 that really pissed me off. lol
