I've modded three separate switches, mainly following birbs guide, and I've never had an issue. I did everything I always do when modding a fourth switch and this one freezes on the nintendo logo if I have exosphere.ini in the root of sd where it's supposed to be. Does anyone have any idea why this is the case? I've made no error or mistake, it's a brand new fresh emu build with nothing other than atmosphere, if exosphere is there, switch freezes, if I delete the exosphere I boot into cfw perfectly fine everything works.

It's baffling to me I haven't found anyone else with this issue, also it's crazy I'm literally doing the same thing I've done for the fourth time and this is a new issue that has never happened in the exact same setup.

why exosphere.ini will make switch hanging at logo boot? sort it as blank_prodinfo_emummc=0.
but i suggest to use deepsea AIO package instead of vanilla ams because it has a convenient and intuitive interface.

deepsea use fss0 boot by hekate so you can ingore exosphere.ini as usual.

I'm not sure what you mean by sort it as? I have the prodinfo set to 1 for emummc because that's the whole point of blanking the serial number, are you suggesting only put that line in the ini?

Regardless, I ended up using a fork of incognito_rcm that blanked the emummc serial number, I'm still trying to figure out what happened anyway because it doesn't make any sense to me that exosphere was causing booting to freeze. Now that I used incognito_rcm on this switch I notice that tinfoil no longer has a incognito section at the bottom, is that normal as well, the last section is help instead of incognito?

Just use 90DNS instead. It achieves the same effect while being a lot safer on your system.
