Hey is it alright if I got some help I basically did what the op did and am on 3.65 with the same Ensō issue. I don’t want to brick at all and am confused by which steps I should take to get this working. Could anyone help me?

i just installed modoru and installed 3.65 ofw, then i installed h-encore and enso 1.1 so, everything is looking fine for now...
Or this if it's easier for you, both should work

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Just need to make sure it’s safe to just use modoru and downgrade to 3.60 without doing anything else? Then how can I upgrade properly after?
Just use the 3.60 FW and install Ref00d plugin to run new games or install 3.65 with modoru and use h-encore,cuz modoru allow you to upgrade and downgrade ur FW,I preffer to stay in 3.60,but it's almost zero difference of 3.65(now that we have enso 3.65,I forgot about that)
Edit: In my case,I just downgraded to 3.60 with modoru, installed henkaku and installed enso after, this fixed my problem in this thread

I ideally want to be on 3.65. I have Modoru but am on 3.65 so I can just get an update file for 3.65 and use modoru to install and it’ll install 3.65 again without brick? This would remove HENkaku right? Then I can install h-encore and proceed? I just don’t know if I should downgrade then update to 3.65 or if it doesn’t even matter

Normally,it doesn't matter,I made many downgrades/upgrades on my vita with modoru to test the exploits
Are you using Enso 1.1? Cuz in this thread,I was on 3.60 and updated to 3.65,but if u take a look above, some people installed the 3.65,after h-encore and finally enso,if u can't do it for some error even with enso 1.1,u should test downgrade to 3.60,upgrade to 3.65 and install all the exploits.
About bricks, this below comes from Modoru github,by TheFl0W
"Q: Is there a chance of bricking?
A: Not likely, since this application is using the official updater and only makes a few harmless patches to bypass some checks." - https://github.com/TheOfficialFloW/modoru#faq

So,u shouldn't have any problems with it,idk if u can reinstall ur FW with it,but u can try too, modoru is quite flexible with this

I did the same thing like Ensō gives me the HENkaku error. It’s too old. And yes this is Ensō 1.1 I would think the best thing to do is use modoru to install 3.60 then upgrade to 3.65 and then use h-encore then Ensō right?

Yes,that's right, some people here tested this and they solved the error,at the time, I preferred to stay at 3.60
Edit: As I mentioned, idk if u can just reinstall ur FW,cuz it would be easier just reinstall 3.65 than install 3.60 and after upgrade it,but if u can't reinstall, the downgrade/upgrade is ur best shot to solve the error

Thanks I’ll try this when I get the chance and update on how it went.

Update: I ended up updated to 3.73 used h-encore 2 and downgraded to 3.65 with modoru. Then ran h-encore2 and reinstalled Ensō. Worked for me

The croissant crust is still available though, but not quite as good imo.
