If you have wrong version switch not booting is more likely but it could be that the older version is compatible. If the older version is able to boot up and function properly I expect the function I exposed to work. Check my release notes of edizon se. I have change the behavior of the app a few times concerning dmnt attach and detach. Attach and detach works and generally I would say it is stable. Given the way I use the switch it crash from time to time and I have no way to tell if this feature contribute to the chances of crash.

Thanks man. Made sure both were up to date and it's working now with ZL and B in the Edizon menu. Cheats disable and the stuttering stops. I really wish there was a way to use cheats without the stuttering in the games that do it.

Instant Kill. It's ASM so the only way to turn it off real is to exit the game, or use that disable code after turning the enable one off

I tried before but the addresses kept changing several times. I can let you know that if you have a save on the pc for the special edition I think, you can copy that over to switch and use it.

You can try overclocking the CPU. Of the games that has problem with dmnt that I looked at it helps but don't remove the problem. My theory is that interrupts caused by cheat VM upset the timing loop and not that there isn't enough CPU cycle to perform the tasks needed to be done.
