I can't press the R button to remap the controls or change settings to my liking, what can I do? I've tried tapping the screen or moving sideways but the setting menu doesn't work

You can set your own button mappings by editing the gbarunner2.ini file found in the _gba folder on your sd card.

Been hammering away with trying to see how WarioWare Twisted works like in GBARunner2, but I just can't make it work as intended. Tried some builds + TWPatch to add in RTCom and either some don't seem to make the gyro function at all, or boot to the root of my SD-card inside GBArunner's menu, while leaving with black screens upon boot.

Any compherensive guides to make it work in full this time?

You need the 3DS build here:
https://github.com/Gericom/GBARunner2/releases/tag/v20191228-021638_ee7f6a0
I think you've done the rest correctly.

I happen to use N3DSXL.
It appears various models of the 3DS family are not supported by the gyro branch for technical reasons I do not know.
EDIT: The gyro seems to depend on what accelerometer chip you've got, which seems to not depend on what model you have.

Mine's the N3DSXL Super Nintendo Limited Edition (PAL).

I just simply used the 3DS gyro build.
Also, make sure external FIRMs and modules are enabled in Luma config, and that Luma is being run from the SD card, instead of CTRNAND.

Here's what I've done so far, correct me if I'm doing something wrong:

- Enabled External FIRMs & Modules already and I assume running Luma from SDCard is basically it functioning normally with themes and all.

- Downloaded the 3DS Gyro-build (GBARunner2_arm7dldi_3ds.nds) from above and put it into _nds-folder on root of my SD-Card.

- Applied TWPatcher to enable rtcom (put Widescreen to indicate so)

- Upon trying to run Warioware Twisted or any other GBA-game from TWLMenu+++, it boots to GBARunner2-menu which starts from root of my SD-card. Trying to run any GBA-rom from the folder I put them in separately simply makes it hang from black screen.

- Trying to boot the game with BIOS on makes it launch correctly from GBARunner-menu, but the gyro doesn't seem to function at all.

To know if Luma is being run from either CTRNAND or the SD card, look at the bottom screen of the Luma config menu.

Nintendo used various gyro chips in different 3ds models. I don't know if it's consistent with the type of 3ds or that they just used whatever was available for the lowest price or so, but each of them needs a different way of interfacing. I guess we only implemented a driver for one of the gyro chips in our arm11 code. It works on my n2dsxl.

Hi, i am playing Zelda Minish Cap and towards the end in Dark Hyrule Castle the game freezes in a specific room. I saw someone on this thread with the same issue, he was using a dsi but it still happens on my ds lite with latest gbarunner version. On the ds compatibility is not mentioned, maybe you should change that

Right thanks for reporting. I knew already that the same happens on DS but I must've forgotten to write it.
