You mean those books from the library in SOTN!?

I'd rather they make Alucard playable, and his assist trophy a doppelganger. After all, there were two of them in the game...
sorry for throwing inspiration aside, but smash doesn't deserve more FE's chatacters ... there're quite a few games that have important characters to enter the roster.

I'd like to see Ganondorf with an original moveset. In every entry so far, I've avoided using Ganondorf because he's a Captain Falcon clone. Having Dr. Mario as a Mario clone is ok but Ganondorf has no relation to Captain Falcon.

Hopefully it's not someone dumb again...the first set of fighters was actually good, but this second set had to start off with freaking Min Min. Ugh.
Not to mention the other unneeded newcomers, like Daisy, Isabelle and Dark Samus. Really didn't need nor want those Echoes.

so no one gets all mad over smash bros having DLC that should have been in the game at the beginning. Yet everyone has a shit show of anger when Pokemon adds paid DLC to things that should have already been in game..

The difference, in my mind, is that Smash at least felt like a full game on release. Pokémon SwSh, in my opinion, just didn’t feel like it had enough content to warrant $60 plus the cost of DLC

If they hadn't released any DLC and never would, would it be a "finished game"? (Referring to Smash)

I have no problem with any ARMS fighter starting the second pass off, considering that Piranha Plant started the first round of 6 DLC fighters, I'd say that Min Min was a step up for the second set of 6 fighters, even though I ended up really liking Piranha Plant as a fighter. And echoes don't bother me at all, as it's clear that minimal dev time go into them compared to brand new fighters, I have to doubt that the inclusion of any echoes meant that we consequently missed out on any brand new fighters.

It's more "why Min Min, and not some other ARMS character?" and "why those Echoes?", honestly. They just tick me off, since all four are extremely unnecessary.

Eh, for me, it could have been any ARMS fighter, and the difference would have been negligible, they're all gonna fight the same more or less, and I'd be lying if I said I liked any one of those characters more than the other, Min Min is just as welcome to me as Spring-Man, Ninjara, Ribbon Girl, etc. As for echoes, I don't really care all that much about them, to me they're all just extra unnecessary characters, so they can choose whoever they like to fill those slots. Sure, it'd be nice to see Octolings or Ms. Pac-Man, but the difference in fighting styles of any given echo is so minimal that I really couldn't care less which echoes make the cut or not.

So what’s your issue with Min Min, specifically? Seems to me like she’s a pretty unique addition, and actually brings something new to the roster instead of “stretchy man fist punch”

I've never played ARMS, personally, but why not have Ninjara or Max Brass or Misango instead of her? Why her?

Why anyone? The ARMS game has no mascot character. The closest you'll get is Spring Man on the cover of the game, but the creator of the game himself says he sees every fighter as the main character of the game. Consequently, any fighter was just as viable as the next. And, Min Min was the ARMS creator's favorite character so Sakurai chose her, though he claimed that Ninjara was in contention, and the ARMS dev favorite did sway the choice. But that all works for me, I agree with the concept that there is no main character for the series and that any choice was just as reasonable as the next (save characters like Mechanica or Bark & Byte which were fighters with a unique gimmick that made them stand apart from the traditional ARMS formula), and frankly, it is nice to get more females, the Smash roster really could use more villains and females, so if the didn't go for Min Min, I probably would have wanted the likes of Ribbon Girl, but Min Min is definitely the more unique and interesting fighter, so I gladly support the choice they made.
