Hi all,

What ever happened to Deja-Vu for original Switches with firmware below or at 7.0.1? Is it being worked on or is the target audience so small it has been abandoned? Just wondering if I've been holding onto that old firmware version for no reason. At this point I'm considering just cutting my losses and restoring a clean 7.0.1 to SysNAND and updating it through Nintendo's service and using it officially for online play.

Thanks in advance.

The idea was to have an untethered jailbreak. Things currently work great with Hekate and Atmosphere (especially since you can reboot through the power menu back to Hekate) but if anything goes wrong I still have to do the old 'send a payload from a PC' thing. I suppose all that would be accomplished would to make that one step unnecessary but it would still be worth it if an option.

Yeah but why would you cut your losses and update? Just make an emummc? You still need to have wifi anyway so its not completely untethered but yeah like you said no one's really working on it

You need to hard mod an unpatched unit if you want to have an untethered boot.

Waiting for Deja Vu on 7.X is arguably worse than Fusee Gelee because if something goes wrong, you now need Wi-Fi which is less accessible than a simply jig and dongle.
