Thank you guys so much for the advice I finally got the media creation tool to work with a legit external hard drive (with a flash drive it kept erroring) and then it showed the SSD in the installation under custom as unallocated. I installed Windows and BAM it was back. I couldn't believe it.

So, the first thing I suggested to do "solved" it?
(you still have the glitching problem, I'd check the warranty)

Today has sucked I have a Acer Nitro 5 with Nvidia GTEForce GTX 1650 16 GB Ram that I've only had less than 3 months and paid just under $1000 for.. It was working but doing some weird behavior with the mouse and the screen was glitching, so at first I tried a system restore. It didn't fix it. Then I tried several reboots but then it wouldn't boot at all anymore. I tried all the normal solutions like letting Windows do automatic repair (failed) system restore (failed) and reset PC (failed). I was doing things with command prompt and it said the partition was not there.

Then I was googling around and did a dumb thing I was using DISKPART and did clean and changed to mbr. Ever since I have lost my C: drive. WHen I boot now it says no bootable device. My C: Drive is an SSD with 256 GB while I also have a 2nd internal D: drive 1 TB regular HDD both on internal. So I've been trying to use usb solutions ever since I tried MediaCreationTool but after about an hour it fails to install it to my usb drive. Now I'm using Hiren Boot CD, but I see that the SSD doesn't even exist to it. It's not even showing as unformatted or anything. My D: drive which holds the 1 TB regular HDD with no Windows shows as the C: drive and the only other drive it shows is the usb I have plugged in. I've tried a bunch a programs in Hiren and nothing has fixed it. I was even considering paying for EaseUS recovery and their chat said they could walk me through how to fix it for $199.99 I said no thanks I'll take my chances with a local computer repair shop if I have to. But I thought I would ask here if someone knows how to recovery a deleted partition with Windows on it. It's gone from bad to worse. I would accept going back to it glitching now if i could. :(
NVMe SSD? AFAIK they only work in UEFI boot which Hiren doesn't support. Use Medicat instead, it's far more up to date. https://gbatemp.net/threads/medicat-dvd-a-multiboot-linux-dvd.361577/

I was going to suggest running a data recovery program, but if you've reinstalled Windows already a lot of your files will be lost forever. For future reference, you never, ever write anything to a drive if you want to recover files from it. You can still recover some of the files, whatever hasn't been overwritten yet.

Thanks I'm using recuva right now on it. It's only 256 gb and I leave like 100 gb open for downloads so it's not a huge loss. I already reinstalled more than half the stuff manually mostly just directx stuff and programs.

Edit: it didn't find anything but garbage. Oh well like I said not a huge loss.

you should make a backup of windows on a flash drive. I think the windows serial number is now on motherboards or so I've heard, so it will work without knowing your serial number. another thing I'd do is make a recovery disc and create a disk image. I have two backups of each (disc and flash drive). and, I make a disk image of my hard drive very few weeks/months. I think my bluetooth failed a couple days ago, so I reflashed an image to check. it still doesn't work. I extended my warranty with dell 'til December 2020, so after my ebay auctions are over on Saturday, I'm going to contact them to have the bluetooth replaced as I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem if the disk image didn't help. I've also flashed a disk image in the past when I got the only virus I've gotten with this new computer (about 2 years old). the system would crash if you tried to remove it, but the disk image eliminated it. also, disk images only take up space used through windows backup utility (built into windows 10 as windows 7 backup), so I made a few backups including one of just the bluetooth mouse installed, which is less than 9GBs. I'm using a 500GB ssd, so restoring takes about 30 minutes for about 250GBs.

Weird thing when I first reinstalled Windows the glitchy mouse thing was still happening, then it just went away. If only I had known it would just go away. I am having trouble with reinstalling Microsoft games like Forza Horizon 3-4 and Crackdown 3, and I had Time Crisis Razing Storm working with my Lightgun with RPCS3 and now it's not working.

if you get it working, immediately make a backup of the hard drive through windows backup. there are a few things on my laptop that have stopped working or got messed up somehow that a backup fixed. it makes a byte by byte replica of the hard drive including the registry, so you won't have to worry about something not working unless it's a hardware problem. I discovered some weird issue once where enabling smb 1.0 for adding network drives for the 360 or ps3 or even using micro sd management on the 3ds caused the vita not to be able to connect with qcma via usb anymore. it made no sense. disabling it again didn't fix it either. I reflashed an hdd image, and it suddenly worked again.

I had Windows updates turned off and all my games were working perfect, but now when I reinstalled Windows it installed Windows 10 2004, and none of my Microsoft games work anymore (Forza Horizon 3, 4, Forza 7, Crackdown 3). I don't know of any fixes I've tried a lot of things but I realized they're for 1903 or 1909.

Is there anyway for me to go back to 1909?

there's a way to uninstall updates (at least I remember it for windows 7), but I don't know if it works for big updates like ones they release in the Spring and Fall. it's here:

I'm reading I can use the same MediaCreationTool and just reinstall Windows 1909. I guess I'll do that after many hours of work on these latest install.

if they were pirated games, that may be why they no longer work. I know windows 10 is supposed to have antipiracy software for games added to it. it's probably been cracked, then new software is added that needs to be cracked again. I don't have any pirated pc games on my laptop, so I've never experienced this if that is indeed what's happening. microsoft actually mentioned this ap before windows 10 was released.

Yeah there are fixes but they were for 1909 that's why I'm reinstalling 1909. I don't believe there's any for the latest update. Besides I have legit game purchases too and some of them don't work. The latest update is widely considered a disaster.

not sure. I haven't tested my games. one thing you might do is shrink the hdd or ssd 's size, so that new updates can't be installed, but it might be problematic. I know some people have done that. I don't know if there's a way to turn off windows update on windows 10. I've googled it before, since it only allows active hours with no way to turn it off like windows 7. I don't know if it's possible, but you may be able to block windows update through the hosts file, which can be opened with notepad. there may be a site to block, but I'm not sure. that's only thinking out loud.

I couldn't restore to a previous version because the first Windows version I installed was this one. However I found a site with a bunch of previous versions in ISO form but I guess I can't link to it due to it possibly being piracy.

Fun stuff if you install an old version of Windows 10, you get to lose all your data. So I get to start over again.

I have another problem it's kinda weird. I just reinstalled Windows back to 1909 and had to start fresh. But it says I only have 11 GB free of 237 on my C: drive SSD. I looked in all the folders inside the root of C: and they only add up to 80 gb, which means I should have like 150 gb left by my math. Definitely not 12. I looked in reycling bin nothing. Before I formatted I had way over 100 now I have 12 after reinstalling Windows it makes absolutely no sense.
